The hotel has been renovated a few years ago, is clean, has enough amenities, including restaurant covering 3 meals a day (not included in booking price), the staff is friendly and accommodating, food is good, lots of parking space, wi-fi available, price is in a good range. Just as information, the building was not projected with an elevator, but this never specifically bothered me.
It would be nice to have some extra chairs in the room that could be moved to the balcony, to sit and enjoy the view and the fresh mountain air, especially for the rooms facing the mountain.
A mosquito net would also be helpful on the door.

The location is great, the view in our balcony was superb!
Indeed, the carpet is old, the bathroom is basic, but we had hot water & heating.
Before you guys, give little stars to this hotel, think that the other 4 stars hotels are much more expensive. The area itself is expensive.

old and unfurbished hotel. beds were really hard and small and smelly bathroom. we reserved for 3 nights and when we got there, they announced us the room is available only for 2 nights.
it is convenient placed near the entrance in the Ceahlau National Park, nice and helpfull staff.
