Located in Smith Mountain Lake, this attractive house for $946 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Bring your boat, stop, drop, and float. This unique rental in a quiet cove has its own convenient and private boat ramp, with ample parking for your truck and trailer, a boating and fishing paradise! The ramp also extends 15' into the lake, providing a nice place to stand/wade/sit in the water versus the lake bottom silt and mud. This getaway provides your family and friends a quiet property for relaxation with a large, empty lot to one side and only two other houses within proximity of it. The shoreline is a retaining wall versus rocks (rip-rap), allowing you better access to the water across the 270 feet of waterfront access. Fresh lake water swimming and fishing from the comfort of the backyard is encouraged, or you can simply relax in a hammock or chairs. The property offers beautiful lake views from the back and front yards This is truly a beautiful place to enjoy any season; spring flowers, summer warmth, fall colors, winter snows. This lakefront retreat also provides plenty of entertainment with a spacious, flat lot for fun and games, kayaks, a canoe, pool table, foosball table, and a tree hammock swing. The property includes a large deck and a large, covered open-air patio with grill, all with water views. A favorite is the covered carport which serves as a covered outdoor dining area with lake views on both sides of the house. The home has many bedrooms, 4 with water views, bunk room for the kiddos and 3 baths. It is two levels, well furnished, well maintained, and features a fireplace in both level living rooms. There are flat screen TVs on both levels and in select bedrooms with the main level offering Comcast's Xfinity. The property also offers unlimited high-speed internet. The upper level features the living room, a sunroom, the kitchen with lake views from 2 sides, 3 bedrooms (king and 2 queens) with lake views and deck access, 2 bathrooms, a laundry area, and walks out to a large deck. The lower entertainment area contains a bar, pool table, foosball table, and an additional living area and bunk beds. The lower-level walks out to a large, covered patio with multiple seating areas for dining or relaxing. The home is centrally located near Moneta, in Huddleston off SML parkway, on Smith Mountain Lake, 5 minutes from Smith Mountain Lake State Park, 5 minutes from Parkway Marina, with plenty of great restaurants within driving or boating distance. The boat ramp measures 10' 4" wide at its tightest point. The perfect place for a quick getaway, family and friends gathering, fishing tournaments, triathlons, and winter sledding.

Everything is as described in the listing. The house and property are beautiful. We had four adults and five children stay, and there was plenty for the kids to have fun with in the downstairs game area. The dock was great for the boat we rented, and the kids could fish or swim off it. The host was very quick to respond to messages and a pleasure to work with. Overall lovely vacation spot that I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to SML.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our family and the location on the lake was great. The kids swam and kayaked the whole time. In the evening they loved the games and the pool table. It was a very peaceful and relaxing time.

I would like to thank Jennifer for an outstanding experience at her house, the house was beyond our expectations very clean very very spacious, the docks were very accessible for our 30' pontoon and jet skiis, the yard is huge I can not honestly think of a single negative thing to say about Jennifer's rental I would highly recommend her place to anyone she is also very responsive to communications

This home was very well appointed and has tons of room for a larger group or family. We were a little apprehensive at the 3 page pdf we received of all the the things we needed to bring and do or not do. Upon arrival though we found many of those things weren’t necessary other than linen and towels. We had a marvelous time. The property is very well maintained. The kids loved the Kayaks and the paddle board. We were a little bummed that the docs weren’t able to be used but there was tons of other things. Wildlife abounds here also for nature lovers. The yard is massive and you can play all kinds of outdoor games as well!! I don’t think you’ll go wrong booking this house on a quiet SML cove!

We are annual visitors to the lake and have never had such weather. It rained 4 days straight. We usually come in July or August.
This is a gorgeous property with numerous areas to gather in. The owners have tried to anticipate every need. There were games, puzzles, pool table, and boy did we need them given the rain. We came to the lake with another family who stayed just around the cove and shared evening meals at each others home alternating nights. There was plenty of room to share the meals. I didn’t appreciate the need to haul all of our own linens or rent them. We were only able to use one side of a double sink and weren’t informed of that before we arrived. Over all given unforeseen things we had a good time despite the weather and planning to be outside on or in the water every day.

The house is sitting on a beautiful large slightly slopping lawn fronting the lake. The location on the lake is just perfect for kids SAFE fun in the water, it is deep enough to jump, quiet enough to not worry about boats. The house has all you may need for outdoor and indoor fun. Kayaks, canoe, life jackets, volleyball net, balls, light plastic table, light adirondacks easy to carry down to the firepit, fully stocked basement with billiard table, fuss ball and plenty of various table games. Just great set up to keep the kids off the electronics.
The house itself is VERY nicely and tastefully decorated, kitchen stocked well, very clean and very fresh. The house works in any weather, there are various sitting arrangements out near fire pit, or covered if raining, or even glass shielded sunroom if windy. We were able to enjoy the weather and had all of our meals outdoors even when rain was pouring. Great home for outdoor loving people!

We had a great week at this house! There was plenty of room for the 10 of us to spread out. The kids loved playing in the basement. Fun Family Vacation
We had a great week at this house! There was plenty of room for the 10 of us to spread out. The kids loved playing in the basement. We enjoyed the large yard and had fun roasting hot dogs and s'mores at the fire pit. Although the dock is small, we were able to dock a pontoon boat there with no problems. It was a relaxing location and we will definitely keep it in mind in the future.

Great place to celebrate with family!
We all had a wonderful time at the property! There was plenty of room for us to spread out. Downstairs was great for all of our college aged kids. Wonderful Lake House
We enjoyed family time at this beautiful lakehouse, which has a fantastic location right on the lake. The bedrooms are beautiful and beds were comfortable - but you do have to bring your own linens, towels, washcloths, hand towels, or pay for linen service. The home has a large walkout basement with two bunkbed rooms (we thought there was only one) and lots of hang-time space with pool, fuseball, and games.

Wonderful Sleepy spot with Many Comforts
The set up of the house was absolutely perfect for our group with 3 couples upstairs and 3 kids downstairs (could easily accommodate more kids comfortably). We rented a pontoon boat from across the road which was a quick and easy walk, and the floating dock was great for tying it up overnight and when not in use.
The tap water was a little bit of an issue for us in that it had a metallic taste and smell to it; we were thankful we had brought drinking water with us to last the week. Jennifer was extremely responsive to our needs all week and indicated that the water issue may be resolved in the future.
