Welcome to The Vintage Oak Estate! Staying at this 1949 home will be an oasis from the hustle and bustle of life. Sit back, relax and soak in a taste of the south in our guest suite. We designed the rooms to be light and airy, but still cozy and comforting with our guests in mind.

When we arrived the front door was locked. After contacting the owner, we received a quick reply indicating a change in process and where to find the keys. The owners were out of town and there were no other guests staying in the property so we were alone in the house but knew family member was nearby if we needed anything. It was very quiet given no event being held. Location was good for visiting local winery, historic Mt Airy and Pilot Mtn. The room itself was fine with comfortable bed/pillow and the room/ bathroom interesting with period furniture and bathroom tile/sinks. There was a coffee maker and pods in room but there were no condiments and although glasses on tray were nicely placed on bed, there was no bottled water in room. Perhaps a bowl of cookies or candy in main house for guests and sign directing guests where to find water/snack would be a nice touch.. There was an odor in the house which we assumed was recent painting or shellac. Luggage does need to be carried up flight of very pretty wood staircase. I’m not sure if we had access to things in the kitchen or not.
