Located in Gorham, this charming house for $113 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Our Victorian home, built in 1902, is on Main Street in the quaint town of Gorham, New Hampshire. Situated 8 miles north of Mt. Washington, this is a prime location for everything outdoors: year round HIKING, (1.7 miles to AT) & BIKING trails, 100s of groomed ATV/snowmobile trails, swim, fish, canoe, kayak and tube the pristine rivers, waterfalls & emerald pools and SKI THE SKI RESORTS within 10-30 miles. The small town of Gorham caters to tourists with a dozen great restaurants, antique & gift shops, railroad museum, opera house & town common - all within easy walking distance of the house. The spacious one bedroom apartment is on the second floor of Victorian home. A private front porch with bistro table leads into a private foyer with antique decor, deacon's bench and coat closet. Walk up the original maple staircase to the tastefully decorated - with comfort in mind - one bedroom apartment. The bedroom has a queen size bed, side chair, large closet and dresser. The large living room has an Ethan Allen couch with full-size pull-out bed. Mattress pad and topper make this bed feel like you're sleeping on a cloud. The coffee table rises to double as a desk if desired. Comfy matching reclining chairs for watching Roku TV, reading a book off the book shelf or taking a snooze. The spacious kitchen is furnished with a table and chairs, a coffee & tea bar, plenty of cookware and basic seasonings, oils and condiments. The full bath with shower/tub comes with towels, soap and shampoo, hair dryer and cabinets for storage. Relax on Adirondack chairs in the backyard overlooking the Androscoggin River. The one bedroom unit comes with parking for two vehicles, steps from the front porch. PLEASE NOTE: Located on Main Street, DAILY TRAFFIC CAN BE HEARD, including logging trucks. During high tourist season of late spring through October, ATVs and motorcycles are common during daylight hours. Nights are quiet . PROPERTY IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ATVS.

The house is excellent! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We came up to go skiing, and the house wasn’t far from Sunday River. The owner was very fast to respond to any questions we had. I definitely will be coming back in the future.

Basic 1-bedroom apartment with comfortable pull-out couch. Large living room. Nice old Victorian that's been updated but kept the original interior detailing. Kitchen well-stocked but no dishwasher. Overall very good.

Great house for your hiking trip ! Fully equiped. Nearby many summits of the White Mountains and a cozy place to rest after a climbing day ! Suzanne is a great host. Fully recommended without hesitation. Sincèrement, Simon.

Very convenient location on main Street with food and coffee shops within walking distance. Beautiful stream in the back yard which makes you feel like your outside of town. The house was very clean and cozy, if Fridley definitely book again.

Everything inside the property was great - clean, well stocked, comfortable. Location on the river was lovely. Our only complaint was that, since it's right on the main street, there's a lot of traffic noise - and needing to keep windows open for warm summertime, that meant the person sleeping in the front room heard everything (including the motorcycles and ATVs running up & down the street all night). But other than that, it was a perfect place to stay for a few days - and wish we had actually been able to stay a few more days (but our itinerary didn't allow for that).

Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. Right in the heart of the village, able to walk to dining up and down the street, or a short drive to the trail head. It's located right on the river, where you are welcome sit at the end of your day.

The apartment was perfect! Suzanne was great and every room was well stocked with the little things you might forget, and a little more. Everything was perfect, the living room was very cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Absolutely loved my stay!!
