This historic mansion is one of the most well stocked VRBOʻs I have stayed at. We did not have to buy any spices, plastic Ziplocks, foil, first aid kits, wrap ... just food and drinks. Beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, you name it, they had it. Mosquito repellent and bug spray in case there was an unwelcome bug in the house. The property is clean, quiet and has lots of room for guests to sit and enjoy drinks and food. The two twin rooms do not have air conditioning but the ceiling fans made these rooms comfortable. All of the other rooms do have air conditioning. This rental was clean and welcoming, the host left snacks, coffee, tea and Emergen C next to the coffee maker. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. It was so nice to sit on the back lanai with our cups of coffee and tea and listen to the frogs and the rain. But it is Hawaiʻi so we saw an occasional B-52 here and there. This home is close to two of the most beautiful beaches ever, one is a 3 minute walk from the home. We had 12 people, two large vans and we very much enjoyed our week here. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home, we have everything we could need or want. The beaxh truly is a shirt 3 minute walk and the water was refreshing.

This house was a incredible place for our ohana to connect, laugh and celebrate our grandmothers 92nd birthday! She was overjoyed to see all the generations together in such of historical piece of Hilo. Best birthday ever she said all thanks to this beautiful home and the kindness of caretakers there!
