Located in Port Aransas, this attractive house for $934 per night is a great choice for your next break. Dolphin Cove-VW68 Welcome to Dolphin Cove! There are beds for 24 people in this courtyard retreat home, with a private pool. As you enter the two-level screened porch you will be able to spread out in the ten bedrooms, with four separate entrances that are all connected within the screened porch. You can make the sleeping arrangements the best for your group! On the gulf side of the porch and courtyard are two masters with king size beds and private baths. A living area with a TV separates the two. Upstairs, you will find a king in one room, and two twin bunks in the other. On the laguna side, the living, dining, and chef's kitchen encompass the whole first floor. The kitchen has 2 microwaves, 2 ovens and an 8 burner stove, with everything you need to cook your meals. Upstairs, find another king bed and a twin/queen bunk. The carriage houses over the garage contain two queens, two twins, and a twin over queen bunk. You will find free high speed wireless internet and TV's in every room. Two sets of washers and dryers are available for your convenience. Nothing beats a dip in the pool, enjoying morning coffee on the patio or evenings around the fire pit overlooking the lovely neighborhood lighted walkway. This is a pet friendly rental. Pet fees are an additional $75/pet, per stay. A maximum of 2 pets are allowed. If you want to join the neighbors, feel free to walk just a few feet to one of the two heated/cooled community pools. NEW ADD ON: One NEMA 14-50 50 amp 240V receptacle for portable EV charging is available free of charge for guests. Guests must bring their own portable charging cords This neighborhood is close to it all! **3 minutes from miles and miles of Sandy Beaches for walking, biking, jogging, building sand castle, horseshoes, shelling, and the best sun bathing you can find. Also available nearby are beach rentals for surfing, sailboarding, jet skiing, and so many other ways to have fun . . . . . OR, just lay on the beach and relax!! **2 minutes from brand new Newport Dunes Arnold Palmer Links course on the Gulf **5 minutes from the grocery store and all downtown boutiques and you are able to shop 'till you drop The neighborhood is also right on the 11th street trolley route to take you around town in yet another fun way to get around! Before traveling to Port Aransas/Village Walk please plan the correct number of vehicles you drive in accordance to the rules below: 1) VW68 provides 8 paved parking spaces. It's always challenging to find a house to fit our large family (including 9 Grandkids). Dolphin Cove was spacious enough for each family to have their bedrooms/bathrooms with plenty of common space as well! The fenced in pool added much appreciated security, and the fire pit was an unexpected bonus! We may have found the perfect spot for our Annual Birthday Beach Bash!

We went on a family trip with 22 of us, we had an amazing time at the Dolphin Cove. The pool was perfect when we were tired of the beach. Perfect size for us, we will be back. Some of the queen beds seemed to be a full size and not a queen but it still comfortably slept couples.

The property is ok, but the management is a wreck. We had 3 major problems.
1. Our code did not work for check-in. It took about 30 min. for them to reset the code and send us new ones. They unlocked the doors remotely while waiting for our new code. Wow--they can unlock the doors AT ANY TIME.
2. The pool was filthy. By the time we saw it, it was after 5, and their "emergency" number goes to voicemail. So, I texted the number that sent the codes. I had to send pics of debris floating on top and an amazing amount of sand and leaves on the bottom, so they would call the pool company which was closed. They said they would follow-up and call me in the morning. 11 AM, no call, so I texted AGAIN. They then insisted the pool guy spent an hour cleaning it and the storm 3 days ago made impossible to clean it better. How INSULTING, the two pools on either side of our house were pristine. They finally got someone to clean the pool the day of checkout. Someone should have checked this before our arrival.
3. The AC started leaking in the middle of the walkway downstairs at 8PM our first night. Almost 2 hours later, maintenance came out and found a clogged drain line and cleared it. But also found a bowl and towel under the drain line overflowing. Obviously it was an ongoing problem with a band-aid. The filter was clogged and was supposed to be replace but it never happened. I asked 3 other times because the AC was not cooling well and one room was very warm. You have been warned.

This house was perfect for our company function. Lots of bedrooms with comfortable beds. Pool was awesome! Kitchen had everything we needed. There was a little issue with cleanliness and a couple of maintenance issues and all were corrected immediately. Very secure and quite neighborhood in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again!!

Dolphin Cove has plenty of space for a large family; the bedrooms are varied (bunk beds and double beds, king beds), allowing for multiple family configurations. The house was fairly clean and well equipped. However, for nearly $2,000 per night, we expected something more than ordinary. The pool may look grand, but it was very small and only 4.5 feet deep. The text says "close to the water." Unfortunately I was not savvy enough to realize that meant driving to the beach would be necessary. Houses are jammed together in the development. On the plus side, when we had a problem with a stair rail, it was fixed expeditiously. The beds were comfortable. The fire pit was a nice touch.

We had the best vacation ever!! The Dolphin Cove was the perfect house, perfect location, and the perfect layout.
After spending the day at the beach, we came back to the house and started grilling the meat while the kids were swimming in our private pool.
Golf carts were awesome and so fun!!

My wife & I and a close group of friends decided to celebrate hers and another’s 40th birthdays in Port A where we’d all spent plenty of weekends over the years together.
Bridget was always very quick to reply to my chats through the VBRO app. On our first evening, one of the rooms above the garage was not cooling. After hours maintenance was quick to come out and bring a portable window unit to get us through the night. The very next day, it was fixed and the room was much more comfortable for our guests in that room.
The stay was amazing and the house was just the right touch to top it all off.

We rent this house every time we host large groups in Port Aransas! It's large enough for everyone to have privacy, and has great community spaces when it's time to gather. This time, we took advantage of New Wave's offer to deliver & pick up our golf cart rentals which was very convenient. The New Wave staff is AMAZING and the property is always extremely clean.

We had a family Christmas weekend here, with 20 or so family members and two dogs. The layout of the place is amazing! We had space for everyone and the kitchen/dining was perfect for gathering.
Unfortunately, the weather was cold and we didn’t really get to enjoy the beach or the pool. But we loved sitting around the fire pit, listening the music, and roasting s’mores. We also played games, watched family movies, and shared meals.
The only complaints I have about the house is that our initial code didn’t work and I killed a couple of roaches in the house. However, the property manager was at the house within minutes to let us in and the roaches are just part of being close to the beach.
The house and property was very clean and well equipped. We would stay again, maybe not in December lol.

our annual Manager's retreat this year was in Port Aransas and the house was beyond perfect! the 10 bedrooms were very spacious and it accommodated all 15 of us comfortably. The pool was also a very special treat. We will most definitely come back.

Overall, the Dolphin Cove house #68 was a great place for my family. Paul Root
My family liked the layout of the house. Plenty of room inside and outside. The kids really enjoyed the private pool. The kitchen, appliances, counters, pots, pans, dishes, etc. was excellent. One upstairs bedroom with two queen beds, over the carriage house above the garage bedroom with two queen beds had bathroom bath and sink drainage problems. The Laguna side upstairs bedrooms had air conditioning problems, but the maintenance men promptly fixed the problem. Other than these issues all went well.

Family Reunion Spot
Used this rental for our first family reunion and was not disappointed. It definitely met all our needs and expectations. The rooms were even cooled down before we got there! Private pool was awesome and it had a gate to keep the wondering toddlers out. Kitchen sat all members. Overall great property would book again!
