About this lodge
Marula is an amazing African glamping experience located between Kerrville and Camp Verde in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Stay with us in an authentic African tent (with A/C, full kitchen, bath and outdoor shower) nestled on 50+ acres of our 800 acre game preserve. Watch, photograph and enjoy rare and endangered animals as they stroll by the camp both day and night. Enjoy the cocktail pool with breathtaking views after a day of exploring all the Hill Country has to offer. Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Comfort, and Bandera are all within a thirty minute drive of Marula.

The pictures do not justify the beauty of this property. My wife and I stayed here and absolutely fell in love with the place! Marula is the most relaxing and invigorating place we have stayed in years! We are already planning another stay! Don’t wait book today!

The views from Marula are excellent. The place is so nice and cozy- perfect to enjoy a weekend away as a couple. There are so many thoughtful touches. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway!

Mrs. Lori is a phenomenal host and has thought of every amenity to make your stay that much better. My wife and I will definitely be making more trips to Marula in the future.
