It contains an open concept floorpan with a fully stocked kitchen, and 6 person dining table, which flows into an inviting living room. The lower level basement is located off of the kitchen and is a great place for kids to play away from the main floor. A small deck, complete with outdoor seating and dining, give remarkable views of the bay. Do not forget to check out the outdoor shower which makes it simple for an after beach quick rinse or a warm shower! East Marion, NY is home to Lavender by the Bay and Kontokoska Winery. The bustling town of Greenport, where you can find popular dining restaurants, shopping and nightlife, is just around the corner. The famed Long Island Wine Trail follows the main road which leads to our home. Whether it be taking a stroll through trendy Greenport Village, fishing at Truman's Beach, teeing off at Island's End Golf and Country Club or simply enjoying the abundance of wineries and restaurants. There is truly something for everyone here on the east end of Long Island's North Fork.

We had a fabulous time at this beach house! The beach is only one house away and has beautiful clear ocean water and a small sandy beach. The home was perfect for our family - our young children loved the yard and biking around the neighborhood. The check-in/check-out process was the easiest I have ever experienced and the welcome basket was a wonderful surprise. Looking forward to our next visit!

The owners have done a fantastic job with a gut renovation of a small, but wonderfully located property on the North Fork of Long Island. Everything is newly renovated and was done in an extremely thoughtful, tasteful and beach-oriented way. Outdoor shower is excellent way to keep the house free of sand, and the landscaping is excellent and maintained weekly for the stay. The host, Kim, was responsive to all of our questions, suggestions and requests from booking through check-out. Highly recommended property for a family vacation!

We had an absolutely wonderful time and Kim was an amazing host- super responsive, helpful, and gracious! This location and home was perfect for our family of 6 - it had everything we needed and then some (including a very generous welcome basket!). We enjoyed exploring during the day, and coming home to late afternoon/evening swims at the lovely little beach one house away, then washing away the sand in the outdoor shower. It was also a great little neighborhood for post-dinner walks or bike rides, and our kids enjoyed watching the fireflies dance in the back yard each night after dark! The view of the bay from the living room/deck is beautiful and so hard to leave. My kids set their alarms a few mornings to get up to see the incredible sunrises. I should also mention the basement is much bigger than it looks in the pictures and a great place for kids to play/hang out. It was also convenient being so close to Greenport (where we enjoyed many an evening dinner, stroll, ice cream, etc.), Orient Beach state park (great for kayaking, beach, playground, biking, exploring), Southold village, restaurants, wineries, and farm stands. Admittedly, we are Cape Cod people, but the North Fork (and this wonderful location) certainly won over our family this week!

Owner leaves nice book of details and welcoming gift- very much appreciated- location of house was wonderful if u are beach bums! Walk over one house to neighborhood beach- wake up 5:30 am if u want to view gorgeous sunrises! Appreciated having basement as one adult kid had to do some work part of days- house was great- nice kitchen- great deck, grill, outside shower was very much appreciated and enjoyed by all family members- location is very good to restaurants, wineries, Greenport, Orient Point, Peconic, Mattituck- hoping to return next summer-

Our family had a great time at this Jewel of a house. The host has gone way beyond any expectations to make our stay enjoyable. Fantastic renovated house that is steps from a very cozy beach that has multiple generations, from toddlers, teens to seniors. North Fork at it's best. Highly recommended!

The location was exceptional! A quiet relaxing space. Steps from the beach. Minutes from great food and activities. They had everything we needed and were quick to reply to any questions. Everything about this vacation and this location was outstanding.

Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Four adorable Santa figurines greeted us upon our arrival and helped set the festive mood. The neighborhood is peaceful. The kitchen is well-stocked. Kim is a wonderful host. We highly recommend this home.

We stayed at this home over Thanksgiving. It was perfect. There is a cute neighborhood beach at the end of the street. My son had a great time searching for shells. The home is exactly as described. The kitchen was well stocked. We spent the last month driving across the country and stayed in many rental homes. This was by far the best! You won't be disappointed.

Communication leading up to booking was excellent. Kim was responsive and flexible when I needed to make a change. The property itself is extremely clean. I caught sunrise with a cup of coffee most days at the beach at the end of the road. I hosted my father who lives nearby for dinner a few nights. Minutes from the Cross Sound Ferry and to Greenport Village. It was perfect for my purposes. I will definitely stay again.

We loved everything about this house and location. House was immaculate, nicely decorated, very clean and well stocked with everything you would need for your gateway. You just need to bring your clothes and any food and drinks you want. Everything else is provided from linens, towels, kitchen supplies, beach items among other things. Little treats left by host was a nice touch. The community little beach was awesome, felt like a private beach. The location is great in a quiet neighborhood, one house off the water, couple of miles to downtown Greenport and close to all wineries. The host was great with quick responses to any questions. We will definitely try to come back to this house again in the future and we recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and stressful gateway. Thanks for everything.
