The Space:
Welcome to Alpine Star Lodge, your perfectly situated adventurer's retreat in the quiet Lazy Acres subdivision. Just 8 miles from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park and the charming town of West Yellowstone, our lodge offers direct access to forest trails right from your door, ideal for year-round outdoor adventures.
Experience the cozy, rustic Montana mountain cabin feel with all the comforts of modern living. The lodge boasts a distinct log cabin aesthetic, featuring extensive wood-paneled walls and ceilings, complemented by wildlife art, rustic furniture, and cozy textiles throughout. It provides ample space for larger groups with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms spread across two levels.
Key Features & Amenities:
- Kitchen: Exceptionally well-equipped for home cooking.
- Dining Room: Large table comfortably seating up to 10 guests.
- Living Room: Large brown leather sectional, flat-screen HD TV, internet service for streaming, Bose stereo system, selection of games and DVD movies, and a cozy fireplace.
- Outdoor Spaces: Wrap-around covered porch with rocking chairs and a love seat swing, two outdoor picnic tables, BBQ grill, and a fire pit with log-plank bench seats for evening gatherings.
Sleeping arrangements include:
- Main Level: One bedroom with a queen bed, with access to the main level bathroom.
- Upper Level: Four bedrooms, three with queen beds and one with a California King bed. Two additional bathrooms are located on this level (one with a tub, one with a shower), not attached to the bedrooms.
Guest Access:
Guests will have full private access to the entire Alpine Star Lodge. There is plenty of room in the driveway to park snowmobile or boat trailers, ensuring convenience for all your gear.

For larger groups, we offer an additional similar-sized home, the Blue Spruce Cabin, on an adjacent lot.
Renting both properties creates a cozy next-door situation, accommodating groups of up to 24 guests.

- We respect guest privacy but are available to assist with any questions or needs that may arise during your stay.
- If needed, we are only 15 minutes away.
- Check-in/Check-out: Detailed check-in instructions, including key access, will be provided prior to your arrival.
- Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM, check-out is 10:00 AM.

We had a family trip to the area. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us. Very clean and well looked after home. Loved all the little details everywhere in the decor. Spacious, well stocked kitchen. Huge table for playing the plethora of provided games. Comfy living room for watching the many provided movies. Strong, fast wifi. Location was great- right next to the rodeo! We went two nights in a row highly recommend. 10 min drive to west yellowstone town for many restaurants and the west yellowstone park entrance to explore yellowstone. Nice set up for smores in the fire pit. The cherry on top of the sundae was the collection of cowboy boots for guests to borrow! Thanks for having us!

We had a great stay at Alpine Star. It was very clean, and there were plenty of dishes and cookware in the kitchen. We weren't there much, but if we'd had more time, we could have relaxed and really enjoyed the place. The only thing that would have made the stay even better is if there were exhaust fans in the bathrooms upstairs. There were 7 of us using those bathrooms. I know that the downstairs bathroom had one. But other than that, everything else was perfect!

There was plenty of room for us all. The fire was nice on the chilly nights. We did have a few issues with the living room tv but eventually figured it out. Overall, my family would stay there again.

The location was great. The house was great for our group with enough large beds and large table ! I reached out via number provided when we arrived and never heard back to my two questions. In addition my sheets were certainly dirty. We ended up washing all the sheets and the concerning spots went away. Other than that, the place was great and would even rent again.
