We’re 17 miles from downtown Bar Harbor which has whale watching and other popular tours, along with restaurants with Maines most fresh seafood.

We so enjoyed our stay in this lovely, comfortable house. The house is beautifully appointed and landscaped and very private. The yard is lovely and well - lit and the outdoor fire-pit surrounded by comfortable chairs is a particularly nice touch. We would definitely book this place again!

Perfect house for hiking Acadia and having a perfect spot to hang later in the day. The guest home had all of the amenities and even had fire wood. Perfect.

While this was our first visit to Maine, we felt at home in this great house in Lamoine. The host thought of everything we could possibly need. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. We would love to come back and stay again.

We were very happy with our stay in this home for 3 nights with our 3 grown kids! It was very clean and contemporary. We wish the weather had been more cooperative so we would have been able to enjoy the deck and/or back yard area. We did love watching the birds from the kitchen each morning! The upstairs bathroom was good, but we all had to use that one for showering as the downstairs bathroom shower was very small and designed those requiring handicap accessibility. Alison was extremely helpful and responsive. The champagne was a nice touch and we enjoyed a toast to our vacation with it. The drives to and from Bar Harbor and Acadia weren't too bad. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling to this area!

This was our first trip to Maine and this location was perfect for our stay. It’s about a half hour drive to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Home was very clean and had everything we needed. After being out and about all day long, it was nice to come back to a home that had enough room for some downtime as needed. Highly recommend this home.

The home was absolutely beautiful. Perfect place to stay if you are going to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Extremely close to both places. The home was fully equipped with everything you need. If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely stay again!

The location was conveniently located yet isolated enough to make you feel you were out by yourself. The house was roomy and well maintained. The property was excellent. Great place for taking in all the area sights.

This home was in a nice location, close to Bar Harbor/Acadia without the higher costs. Kitchen was nicely stocked and home was very clean. Easy communication with owner. Just a slight note, the one bath is a handicap tub/shower so we all used the upstairs shower but no complaints. It was a great stay.

The house was very nice, just as advertised. The bottle of champagne left for us was a nice gesture, even tho we didn't get around to drinking it. Great place!

This home is in a beautiful wooded location just outside Acadia. It was well-equipped and centrally located for our vacation in Maine. Owner had great communication and ensured we had everything we needed for a great stay. Highly recommend this property!

Casa Gris is a delightful property surrounded by trees. The house was a good fit for the 3 of us, and quite comfortable. We were delighted by the bird feeders around the property, and the varieties of birds that visited. There's plenty of parking, and it's only about a mile or so from restaurants and stores. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This rental property is very spacious and clean. The home decor was so cute and the amenities were top notch. The tv was huge and there were many video games and board games to play! The location is just outside of Acadia National park, convenient to all local sites. Alison the host was very helpful and responsive! Our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Casa gris slays the day and so does Alison the host!

Wonderful experience
I can’t say enough about this property or the hosts. The house and property is not only beautiful but the hosts are so welcoming and responsive to any questions or concerns. These hosts go the extra mile to make sure your vacation experience is comfortable in the amenities and supplies they provide. I would definitely like to stay here again.

Family vacation
This house is beautiful, newly remodeled and perfectly equipped. We were there for a family reunion, rented a couple of houses and this was by far the prettiest. It is very close to shopping and close to Acadia National Park. Would definitely love to stay here again, in fact my one complaint was not being able to stay longer.

Beautiful home, great location
House is gorgeous with excellent proximity to Acadia and Bar Harbor. It was secluded but close to everything. We were happily surprised with how well stocked the property was. We’ve stayed at a few VRBOs over the years and this is definitely one of our favorites. We especially enjoyed the firepit area!

Unforgettable
Hands down the best rental property we have ever had the pleasure of staying. The pictures, although nice, don't nearly capture the beauty of this home. We had everything we could possibly need plus a thousand extras! The owner was thoughtful and communicated with us quick and professionally. A great home for families hiking acadia or just spending time in bar harbour. Very close to both locations..just a quick 15min drive. Do not hesitate to rent this home.

Fun in Maine
This house was awesome. My husband and I and another couple stayed here for the week. It it close enough to Bar Harbor and Acadia. It was well equipped for us and very clean. We loved it. Can not think of anything less than all positives. We would definitely recommend!
