Loblolly Cottage is a peaceful retreat set among towering pines on our property in Germantown NY. This guest suite harkens back to an authentic 1930s Adirondack cabin that features a reclaimed barn wood interior with vaulted ceilings and antique beams. Outside enjoy our fantastic deck with a Cabana kitchen and fire pit. A short stroll will lead you to the heart of the hamlet where you will find an array of shops and restaurants. Loblolly Cottage is a unique one-of-a-kind vacation experience. I'm new on VRBO, but I have over 150 Five Star Reviews on that other rental platform. Check them out there.

The cabin reminded me of my favorite childhood book, Miss Suzy. Charming, quiet, convenient, with every detail considered. Any small question we had was immediately answered. Perfect stay and we’ll be back soon!

This is a beautiful, cozy, and comfortable cottage. The attention to design detail, stained glass windows in the peaks, lantern wall lights, and barn wood beams, makes this a special place. We were there on a cold and rainy weekend and it was a perfect place to just relax.

Had a great time staying for a long weekend. Billy was a great host and was very helpful for our whole weekend. The cottage was a perfect spot to rest after spending the day hiking in the area. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed staying here..Billy was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area…..Cooked in the first night…travelled to a Billy recommended waterfalls the next day as well as visited Olana ..an historic site very close by…Dinner in town and a walk for ice cream…We really liked the area…We’ll be back

Online and check-in communication was very good. Nice bathroom and outdoor deck. Listing did not mention that the quasi-kitchen was outdoors. There was a refrigerator but no wash-up sink; guests leave dirty dishes for the owner. While this was doable for a couple of days in good weather, we would not repeat the experience. Very small main room with not enough horizontal storage area for baggage.

Great place to stay. Beautiful deck and outside kitchen. The host thought of all comfort items. The cottage was so cute, clean and very comfortable! Couldn’t ask for a more accommodating host! Plan to book again

Everything about it was perfect. The host,Billy, was helpful and friendly. The property is very well managed and cared for, the definition of charming. The location in an idyllic quiet small town could not be better.

This property is so well planned and thoughtfully equipped that it grows on you day by day. I mean laguille knives and host does your dishes! Great location to explore hudson River valley with a quiet location!

Loblolly cottage is an adorable and pleasant place to stay when exploring the Hudson valley. Comfy bed, well organized, and up to date with so much charm. The bath and hearing are all modern while maintaining the cozy vibe. Great host.

Our entire stay was just perfect! The cottage was beautiful, the outdoor space was a treat, and the hosts were great and had thought of everything. Not to mention it was an ideal location for walking to a nice dinner or driving just a bit further for some shopping. We hope to stay again next time we’re in the area!

This was a perfect getaway for one or two people. No detail has been left unnoticed as you enter the beautifully appointed rustic cabin. We spent a lot of time in the private backyard, what a wonderful oasis. With a bar, refrigerator, bbq, hammock and beautiful canopy of trees. The host was attentive but not intrusive. We will be back.

Such a lovely place to stay. The setting is so charming,. Lots of nice, thoughtful touches. The cabana kitchen is a perfect complement to the large deck area, making it easy and comfortable to come up with meals if desired. The hosts were welcoming and eager to accommodate. I hope to return at some point. Thank you.

Perfect Serene Getaway
We had the BEST experience at Loblolly Cottage. The cottage is incredibly charming and the outdoor deck space was perfect for relaxing and grilling all weekend. Billy was a wonderful host who was quick to respond to our questions. Highly, highly recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet, charming getaway.

We HAVE to come back!
My partner and I took a much needed break from city and spent the weekend at Loblolly and we couldn’t be happier that we did! The cottage was cute, clean and SO cozy. Billy was so friendly and made sure we had all we needed as well. Would HIGHLY recommend a stay here weather you need a quiet weekend away or you’re looking for a cozy spot that’s in close driving distance to the shops and galleries in Hudson. This won’t be our last trip to Loblolly!
