This house was great, close to the beach and restaurants. The kids did kayaking multiple times a day which kept them happy. My friend fed the iguanas often. Maybe not the best idea. There are beautiful ducks. I did encounter a raccoon one night!

Managing agent Daniel Wood took this property over from the previous company just days before our arrival. His efforts to ensure that our stay went well were above and beyond - no matter what hiccup or minor issue we encountered, he was available within minutes. Can't thank him enough for all he did. The weather didn't always cooperate, but the house and the constant presence of nature were amazing (we will miss the waterfowl, iguanas, lizards, osprey, and many other fauna who floated. swam, or sauntered by!) The beach is a short walk away and close enough to reach on foot in minutes - even with small children in tow. Thank you, Daniel, for helping our family find some solitude and beauty in a chaotic world!

I came down to this property for my older brother's birthday + bachelor party with 10 of his good friends, many of which he hadn't seen in a while. Both the main house and guest house were clean and tidy, the pool was great, and the grill and kitchen appliances were high end and a pleasure to use. We were a 2 minute walk to a great beach, and a quick Uber/lift to nightlife and golf. I highly recommend!

First let me say that the property and location was excellent and Andy (the property manager) was very responsive when we had issues. However, it would have been great not to have to contact Andy in the first place! This property is described as a luxury home and it is very high end in terms of price (in my opinion). As such I would not have expected to make as much contact as we did. We had multiple people come to the property to sort issues out. We had issues with the AC not working and 2 different folks had to come out to fix the issue, none of the ice makers work, the fan in the upstairs bathroom doesn’t work and the bathroom had a damp smell. Two of the bedrooms had TVs that didn’t work, the propane grill didn’t have a tank (for the money we paid this was irritating although one was delivered 2 days before we were due to leave). It got to the point where I stopped contacting Andy because I felt like I was being a nuisance. Having said that we had a GREAT time and really enjoyed the pool, lagoon, and how close we were to the beach.

We had 10 family members for a week in January 2021. The property and location were amazing. Tons of space. Best of all worlds: nature setting, pool, and so close to beach. Cons: Property is slightly run down (dirty windows, moldy pergola, cracked floor tiles, rusty old beach chairs and not enough of them, broken pool furniture); alarms on 3 double doors in rear of home that we were not warned about and that we set off when we got there at 11:00 PM (had to call property manager and were told to take batteries out); lack of hot water after only a few quick showers; stains on couch; and mild musty odor. Ice maker was not working, but property manager was prompt in getting a repairman out, although the problem was not fixed and repairman had to be called back a second time. Overall, it really would be an amazing place with a little TLC. The problem is that it is promoted as a luxury property and the price reflects that. It is not kept up as a luxury property.

The house was clean, spacious and in a great location. Just a 2 minute walk to the beach was easy, and the house had beach towels, chairs and umbrellas! I would rent this property again if in the area!

This is such a special and unique place-- perhaps the best location in Ft. Lauderdale. House is spacious and comfortable, with everything you might need within a walk or short drive. Lots of little issues, but the caretakers were amazing! They were there within minutes to address any problem large or small.

Was with my 3 children and 2 grandchildren and property was perfect. Large living room & dining room, many places to sleep, serene back yard with a pool and 1 quiet residential block from the beach. Managing agent answered all my requests. Two criticisms (1) upstairs a/c thermostats did not work and (2) quest house needs a small working refrigerator

This home has been recently renovated and we love the decor. The backyard is absolutely stunning, it's like being in a park! We loved all the turtles, ducks and iguanas. We paid for the heat for the pool and swam every single day. Having a separate guest house was also a very welcome convenience for our older children. Our only complaint about the property was one of the mattresses in the upstairs bedroom was not comfortable at all. The other issue was a lack of plates/cups/wine glasses/mixing spoons, etc. in the kitchen. The high end appliances all worked like a dream but with 9 of us we had to wash dishes after each meal and often didn't have enough glasses for beverages. Otherwise, the house is a dream. The first floor master was an added bonus for our parents as they are in their 80's and don't do stairs well. Thanks for a great vacation!

This place provided us a fantastic stay for a long weekend. It was very clean, with lots of towels, sheets, and comforters. There were TVs scattered throughout and each room had its own level of privacy. The best part was the location in terms of the beach and seclusion. Its about 100 yard walk from the beach, but the location allows it to be completely hidden. Would definitely stay here again!
