This little two bedroom two bath was perfect for a couple of old dudes going fishing on the Madison River. Will will stay there again when it is available.

My family has been coming to Ennis since 1974. My dad had to recently sell his house in Ennis due to some medical problems, so we wanted to bring him back for a visit. This house was perfect for us. It is fully equipped with everything we needed. It was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend “The Rainbow Trout Cottage.”

Super nice house with cute little backyard. Beds were comfy and so were the couches. Clean and quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay. My husband had fun at the golf course and we loved all the back roads to see wildlife. Thanks for letting us enjoy your place.

We had a great week in Ennis! Our cottage was in a perfect location and we enjoyed walking to local shops. No complaints, just suggestions: heavier drapes in sliding doors would be nice, as well as more fans to cool house since there was no a/c. Of course, we had unseasonably hot weather. Also, it would be nice to have access to the closet in the master bedroom- no place to put our clothes! We would stay here again.

Perfect Location with every Amenity
Perfect Location with every Amenity
The Trout Cottage is in the most perfect location. It is indeed a quick 4 minute walk to charming Ennis, 1/2 a block from a coffee shop and walking distance to the grocery store. It’s also 1/2 from the Rodeo grounds. Once you, park, you can walk everywhere you need to go. It’s located in a new development just outside of the town. The cottage was pristinely clean, decorated in a clean and rustic- modern style without being kitschy and had every item we needed during our 6 day stay. I appreciated the fenced backyard so my 6 year old son had a place to park his bike or play and we could have some privacy for our morning coffee on the back patio. Gilbert was an incredibly responsive host and immediately replied to any questions we had, even though we didn’t actually need anything at the property, as it was thoughtfully supplied. We would absolutely stay again!
