About this house rental

Nestled in Lake Lyndon B Johnson, this lovely house for $166 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Beautifully renovated duplex in a quiet neighborhood with lots of wildlife around. Family and pet friendly!! As you are driving to the house you will start seeing a lot of wild life everywhere and people walking around with their pets. Our house is located in a cul-de-sac that backs up into a green belt in a very quiet neighborhood where you will be able to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We worked hard to make sure our guests would enjoy it as much as we do. The patio has several sitting areas. A large fire ring with 8 chairs to sit around and enjoy making some s’mores or just hang around. There is also a round table that sits 8 people to eat or play some board games. The last is a small sitting area on each side of the duplex next to the grill with a swing to enjoy and relax. Inside the home you will walk in to all windows from floor to ceiling that would let you enjoy every moment of the outdoors even when inside. When you walk in you will find the living room with a comfortable couch and two large chairs and dining area for 6. The new kitchen is well stocked with everything that you need for your getaway, from coffee maker to instapot. The downstairs bathroom has a shower/tub combo and the laundrie room in it. The Master bedroom with King size bed. In the second floor is the Loft which we have it with 2 queen beds, and a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo, also there is a small room where you will be able to sit on the cushions on the floor and read or drink your coffee and relax watching the nature outdoors. The outdoors might be shared with guests that rent the other side of the duplex but you will have your own gas grill and sitting area outside your doorstep. The fire ring and round table are shared. Note: Both sides can be rented for large groups up to 12 please message for information and pricing on both together

The wall of windows overlooking the backyard and wooded area was spectacular. We really enjoyed the space. However there were some easily corrected issues which I hope are resolved. One bath water faucet was loose and you had to hold the base while turning the handle. There was pink mold at the bottom of the shower curtains. The tub took hours to drain. The shower curtain rings were too small for the rod and that made it difficult to move the curtain. A toilet seat was loose. There was no handsoap in one bath. A light in a bath would sometimes flash on and off.

Karina was easy to communicate with, and always prompt to respond! I’ll definitely be coming back.
