This spacious, two-level home boasts high-end amenities and finishes with accommodations for up 16 guests. Enter on the main floor to a brightly lit interior, accented with a cool, contemporary design. The open-concept, central living area offers plenty of room to spread out while luxurious furnishings to ensure comfortable gathering. The gourmet, island kitchen comes well-appointed with everything needed to prepare beautiful, group-style meals and thee indoor dining table can seat up to eight. For happy hour, entertain guests while mixing-up classic cocktails behind the full wet bar. In the evenings, pile up on the plush sofas for movie nights by the fire. The primary bedroom on this floor features a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with a jetted tub, walk-in shower, and expansive walk-in closet. The second level features the other four guest rooms and a second TV/living room with access to the furnished, upper deck. To queen bedrooms are to the right of the stairs, each with its own full bathroom. One bedroom also comes equipped with a crib, making it a perfect choice for guests with a newborn or toddler. To bunk rooms -- perfect for kids -- are to the left of the stairs. One has an attached bathroom and the other has access to a full bathroom just outside the door. A second, furnished upper deck can be accessed just past the bunk rooms. Enjoy a soak in the private hot tub whenever the mood strikes. The enclosed backyard will provide hours of fun, with a furnished patio. A well-appointed grill station makes this an ideal setting for a backyard barbecue. This home is absolutely beautiful and the details in the home were amazing such as the light fixtures in the living room and kitchen. We enjoyed our stay. It is extremely spacious with restrooms in 4 rooms and two upper balconies. I would definitely stay here again. It was 5 of us and we all got our separate rooms and restrooms. This home could easily sleep 15 or more so imagine how we felt having our own rooms AND restrooms.

The property was absolutely amazing for our friends and partners to stay. Everyone got their own rooms and bathrooms and the open common spaces were perfect for socializing. There were tons of flies that would get into the house that was kind of annoying but other than that, it was spotless and amazing.

Wonderful, roomy, open main floor with large kitchen and eating area. Attention to details much appreciated! If you like motion activated lights, you'll love the fact that the 5 and a half bathrooms and the closets are equipped for this. Great perk to have a hot tub.Great location! Great communication!

House is very nice and plenty of room for our family. Just a little frustrating when you can't check in until 4:00pm and the cleaners are still there? Having to check out at 10:00am makes your stay much shorter. All in all it was nice. FYI you really need a set of steps for the hot tube.

We had 18 family members and the Stardust fit all our needs. Most of us made the short walk to the beach but it was easy to drive there as well. We were expecting some cleaning supplies to be on hand, but considering the house is brand new, it was a minor issue. Clean, roomy and worth the price.

Pros: The house is as large as the pictures suggest, and the number of rooms & bathrooms were really nice. The bar area was a nice touch, and one of our friends reveled in that space playing bartender all weekend. The 2 upstairs porch/overlooks were also a nice place to relax, though there's not much in the way of views. The kitchen is generally modern, and the gargantuan kitchen island came in very handy. Every bathroom had ample towels. Also the grill is hooked up to a natural gas connection & works well, but the outdoor fire pit was not working. I think this is a decent house if you are just looking for a place to sleep in comfort but have activities outside the house planned. While we did have a couple issues described below, Vacasa customer service was generally responsive & made things right, which is why we rated this at least 4 stars.
Cons:
(A) Dirty upon arrival. For as nice of a house as it was, there was dirt & dead bugs throughout the house when we arrived, leftover coffee in the pot, and dirty dishes in the drawers. However Vacasa did make things right, but still you cannot charge a cleaning fee & the place be unclean.
(B) House is sparse with respect to accessories, soap & shampoo, and other general items that guests commonly will need. Every faucet should have a bottle of handsoap - there was only 1 bottle of handsoap for the entire house. The other faucets just had a bottle of purell. Had TVs everywhere but not all of them had remotes.
(C) Kitchen was generally spartan. While there were plenty of cooking utensils and a few pans/pot, it was difficult to make meals without more kitchen tools/accessories to match the size of the kitchen, the house, and the size of group that would rent this house. The oven was an undersized convection oven, which made usage very challenging and inefficient. Now if you don't plan to cook at all, ignore this part and maybe this is the perfect house for you, as there are plentiful plates and utensils.
(D) This is the nicest house in a so so neighborhood and on a very busy corner. If you're a deep sleeper, you're good. But we woke up a few times from police at a nearby house & loud Chargers/Mustangs driving by on the road.
TLDR; it's a decent house with great spacing, comfortable beds, and plenty of bathrooms. There were some prickly aspects to our stay, but Vacasa tried to make it right. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

The house was nicely built and the owner thought about the prickly person, or the person that love to pamper themselves. Let tell about my nightmare walking in. It was flys and trash left for over a week. When I 3 trash dumpster was left in the garage. The grass had not been cut in the front or the back. Flies, and bug I'm just going to keep it pg. The inside of the house was clean they finally got housekeeping back out as the promise the yard and everything else would be taking care of. That didn't happen. The house keeper did the best but indicated the was the to just do lite pick up to make me happy. The went on to inform me that this house needed a deep cleaning which I agreed but if the did that the wouldn't be paid for it. Beware they are only to clean the the things that's visible. Everyone that showed up commitment on the fact the yard was cut. I can go on but I don't want to discourage anyone from this amazing house. Just book through Vacasa. To the owners they are giving your amazing home a bad look. I will be sharing the same pics I shared with I would think the would have corrected the problem. I also want you to know as business owner I wouldn't allow such a poor location management team to ruin a experience for one guess. Also did I mention this owner of this amazing house some of the best restaurants in Galveston. 2nd time back to home in 2 years..

My family and I booked a weekend stay and there was a leak in the master bathroom ceiling above the toilet. Secondly, there was ants, RAT'S and ROACHES that was noted in the house and observed next door(I have pictures).This is not the living conditions that my family and I expected to experience. I emailed my concerns and was ignored by the staff. It's NOT worth the money.

We thoroughly enjoyed this house. It accommodated our family of 8 with no problems. (We were supposed to have 5 additional, but last minute they were unable to come). The house was clean and easy to find. When we got there, the water was turned off, so we went about 4 hours without water, but the owner finally came and turned it on. The only 2 things we would "complain" about are: we couldn't find the key to turn on the fireplace and that would have been nice as we stayed there during a very chilly time. Also a casserole dish or two. Otherwise the house was stocked quite adequately.

This home has every feature imaginable! It is just a 5-minute drive from the beach, ferry, and downtown! The showers and tubs were immaculate, and the whole place was sparkling clean! This home is big enough to bring your entire family - with two bunk rooms dedicated to kids. I loved the hot tub and all the outdoor patio spaces. The is a true gem!

The house was very big and clean!! Nice house. However, the A/C unit upstairs was not working. When I reached out to the VaCasa staff (local) I was told that I froze the unit up. This was not the case. When arriving to the house the temperature was 79° the whole weekend it only dropped to 78°. The local staff Chris was very rude and disrespectful. I ask for some type of compensation and received $57 on a $1400 rental. Not acceptable!! Would not recommend using Vacasa and would not recommend booking the house until the AC problem is resolved.
I have used Vrbo before and no problems. Will continue to use them, but no Vacasa properties.

The Stardust Retreat was the perfect house for my family. We celebrated for my son who went to heaven last year in July. Everyone enjoyed the entire house..it was spacious, close to attractions, convenient store for incidentals, and the hot tub was a delightful treat! we will for sure visit again. Chris, the property manager was onsite when needed, and available for us at all times....GREAT PROPERTY!!!

Perfect location, clean and comfortable. This house was even better then the pictures. The hot tub was listed but not shown in the pictures, however it was large brand new. We also liked that the gas grill was conected to the house so no worries about running out. There was a sink outside that realy made it work well without running in and out of the house while grilling. We also enjoyed the full bar area. The Ice maker in the bar was also VERY helpful as well as the wine refrigerator. We used the wine refrigerator to also hold water and kids drinks so the kids learned to go there at their level to get drinks. Ther was a water spot near the front door to wash our feet before we went in. This house was Perfect for our large family and very comfortable.
