Newly remodeled. We want our guests to feel a range of emotions when entering The Crane's Nest. Cozy, comfortable, relaxing, nautical and romantic. This cottage is fully stocked with supplies for campfires, grilling, cooking and games for the whole family. We are one mile south of Roadside Park (public beach) and one mile north of Hagar Park (public beach). We are perfectly located between St. Joseph (9 miles south) and South haven (12 miles north). With so much to see and do in both directions. The Crane's Nest is a Family friendly cottage. We are not large enough inside or outside for parties. We rank very high on decor, cleanliness and activities. ***********If you only need a Two bedroom, one bath, we also have Chip's Place next door. Very nice, clean, and welcoming. There were 4 adults & 5 year old. We enjoyed the trip immensely. It was a short drive to state park beaches and St. Joseph. Would highly recommend this comfortable little house for your visit.

I’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, and this might be the best I’ve ever experienced. Thoughtfully designed and arranged, impeccably clean, and stocked with both practical and generous supplies to make a stay easy and enjoyable. House is beautiful with more amenities than we could use! Could’ve used another night to fully enjoy. Centrally located to South Haven, St.Joseph, beaches, restaurants and more. Really enjoyed our time here! Host was excellent and timely with communication as well!

We had a wonderful time. The cottage is adorable, very clean, and the perfect size for a smallish group. It's also well stocked with essentials and some special treats. We will definitely consider returning! The nearby beach is lovely. About a 3-minute drive at most.

What a lovely place.! It was decorated so cute and had everything we needed and more—wood for the fire pit, coffee and danishes for breakfast. Close to all the places we wanted to go-beach, shopping and Sherman’s! Great stay for these 50 year old high school friends!

Very well appointed house - great for our girls weekend. Very clean and maintained. Appreciated the extra touches like the keurig coffee makers, soaps and little toiletries in the bathroom. We had a very nice weekend.

Great location. Great host. She put amazing work into the house. It looks wonderful!! My only complaint is the smell of the house. And no I have not mentioned it to, Dawn. But I do think it's helpful to inform other potential guests in the future. Looks to be water damage.. it is very evident on the hardwood floors. Another thing to note... You are connected to another VRBO stay. (If guests are scheduled of course) But it's all one house and the host must of put a wall up to separate the two places. I guess I'd describe it as a connected condo. I honestly would stay again if it wasn't for the smell of this house. But it was too bothersome for me. I would take an old finished home with no toxic smell over a newly remodeled with a bad smell of water damage or whatever else you have going on.

We cannot say enough great things about this property! Extremely quiet location yet close to many beaches. We enjoyed the Roadside Beach for the sunset. Dawn is a terrific hosts and is quick to respond.. we generally stay at hotels in the area, but never again. This home is absolutely perfect and will be a first choice for us on future visits!

Lovely cottage, personal touches and available household items were greatly appreciated. Constant four wheeling in front and around the house was a bit much at times, other than that we enjoyed our stay and will recommend to friends and family.

We needed 3 bedrooms and this was perfect. We took advantage of all that was offered: fire/ s’mores, played cards at table on deck, had coffee each morning from coffee bar, towels/ toiletries, tv, large open front window to watch birds, and fully stocked kitchen. Beds were.comfortable. If I stay here again, I’ll bring a fan for background noise at night. Thanks, Dawn!

The property was lovely, well decorated and well stocked. We all enjoyed our own room. It was clean, fresh and up to date. The location was a little confusing as it took us a day to realize we were in the township of Coloma and not the actual town/city so our GPS led us astray a few times. Easy access to highway 63 for beaches to the north and south. We enjoyed 3 beaches, a cider farm, walks on the pier, lighthouses, shopping, a sunset cruise, farmer's berry stand and a farmer's market in St. Joseph's. We were able to easily fit a lot in during our 4 day, 3 night stay!

The kitchen is well stocked, and we enjoyed eating and playing games at the table in the back room - nice & bright with views of the yard. This home was very clean, adorably decorated, close to beaches, towns and Parks. It had wood for the backyard fire pit, smore' and hot chocolate fixings, coffee and tea for the Kuerig, a relaxing indoor fireplace, games, internet, Netflix, etc. It was well stocked and we had a very enjoyable stay!!

Wonderful. Relaxing and fun for us (3 women on a getaway). Ate in nice restaurants right in Coloma - many to choose from. The cottage was very clean and had all the things we needed. Visited local wineries - very nice. Highly recommend this place and this area.

We had a little 4 day getaway with 2 small grandkids. It was just a couple of miles from the beach as well as just a few miles to town. The cabin was spotless and my grandkids kept remarking on how fluffy the towels were. Lol. Kitchen was stocked and ready to use. We had a couple of questions and the owner responded very promptly which we definitely appreciated! Thanks for a great stay.
