We stayed for just a few days. The house is awesome. The view is amazing. We spent a lot of time on the pier fishing and enjoying the boats passing by. The house had everything we needed. The owner was very quick to respond to questions. (Even my stupid ones) we will definitely be back.

Love the location and the fishing from the dock.

We were in Oak Island for my daughter's wedding. This home was perfect for my dad who needed a place without steps. I wanted him to be able to have a nice view for the days he was "home" and this was perfect. He actually celebrated his 74th birthday here as well and was able to catch a couple fish. The house was perfect for us. Thank you, I hope we are able to come back.

This is a very nice home. Beds are very comfortable, cleaning supplies, dish and dishwasher detergent supplied, hand soaps at every sink, paper towels and bathroom tissue. The view of the ICW is fabulous, along with dolphins and the cranes. We enjoyed fishing and watching the boats go buy from the dock. Craig is a great host and hope to go back next ear.

Very toddler friendly, we brought our own gate for the pier, but the inside was wonderful and safe! Craig made check in and check out super easy! We had a blast watching the boats go by, and fishing from the pier! Will book again!

Craig was a wonderful host. There was an issue with the property that was out of his control but he worked with us to make it right and made sure we had a great stay. I will definitely recommend and would stay again.

The property has beautiful views. We really enjoyed the pool table. We also enjoyed watching the wildlife from the dock.

Great house in a great location, minutes from the beach, and with your own patio and dock for enjoying the intercoastal waterway when you were hanging out - and yes, we saw a dolphin swim by. The pool table was a huge hit with our family and gave us something to do while just hanging around the house. And the property manager was quick to respond and show up to help us when there was a typical homeowner issue at the house. The only complaint is that the light shuttered doors on the bathrooms don't really afford much privacy. Other than that, it was a great property to stay at. Get some fishing gear and take advantage of the dock!

We loved the house. Clean, well stocked, great view. We had a blast playing pool! It is an excellent property. Only thing I would improve would be the the bedroom/bathroom doors from shutter style to solid doors for more privacy. It still worked for the 5 of us!

Our family was truly able to enjoy vacation, unplug and unwind! We felt like this was our home away from home and can’t wait to be back. We walked in and immediately felt like the pictures don’t do the home and canal justice! Thanks for such a great stay!

We had a wonderful time at the Ferguson cottage, the teenagers enjoyed fishing from the dock and grandparents were entertained by watching the boats pass by from the deck or from inside the living room in the air conditioned area. We enjoyed riding our bikes all the way to the country club line. Nice workout. Area is very safe.

Family vacation and we really enjoyed this property on the intracoastal waterway. It is a beautiful home in a beautiful location!

Quick getaway with the Family. It was rainy and cold all weekend. But the view from the house was spectacular!!!! The house was clean, efficient and the pool table was a lifesaver this weekend. Beds slept great… Awesome location!!!! Hope to stay again.

This property is gorgeous, we espcially loved sitting on the deck watching the dolpins swim by as well as numerous boats. I can't wait to come back with my family and let them enjoy Ferguson Cottage on the Intracoastal Waterway!

Absolutely love this place. Views are amazing. You have birds and animal life such as dolphins (which we saw 2) right off the dock. The house is very unique which adds to the total experience. You have a great vacation place in this adventure. We will be back and are already looking for the next time we can visit. Thank you for one of the best experiences.

Myself, my daughter and my granddaughter enjoyed our time in the Ferguson Cottage. The location is great. The house was adorable. The next door neighbor was very nice. She greeted my daughter upon arrival and being a lover of dolphins, my daughter asked about seeing them. On Sunday morning, the neighbor came over to ask my daughter if she had seen the dolphin earlier. Right after talking to her, my daughter was summonsed outside b/c there were several dolphins playing in the waterway. Needless to say, my daughter was in Heaven. We would definitely love to return to Ferguson Cottage again and recommend it for a lovely getaway.

I am a wood worker, so I absolutely loved every minute inside this round house with steam bent wood panelling. The location is great, it's peaceful, serene, and quiet. Would return!

While working in the area for the week a couple of us used the property instead of a boring motel as we have in the past. We found this to be a refreshing change. The home was well maintained and meet our needs nicely. The neighborhood setting was quite and peacefull. The house was beautiful and description was accurate as listed. We do plan on booking this house again.
