Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Please note that there are steep stairs at this property. This home does not have air-conditioning. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

We stayed in the b unit of house it's large space was great and clean extremely quiet for sleep by the water and not a lot of traffic. It was a drive to bar harbour but worth it you stay out for the day and come back to place and rest

If you want a get away from the crowds in Bar Harbor this is a great spot. It's close to water and the place was very clean. But , two of the 3 bedrooms don't have closets or a place for hanging clothes, the kitchen cabinets need knobs,, and there is no real dining table other than stools in the kitchen. The kitchen is also poorly stocked. This place could be a gem with some more furnishings and some added charm. As is, it is a low cost quiet get away if you want chill....and don't mind a long drive to the grocery store or staying above the local post office.

We enjoyed our stay. This is a renovated second floor unit in an older house; clean and spacious kitchen and living room; simple clean bedrooms. The stairs to the third floor bedrooms and both bathrooms are steep and narrow and require some effort. You might use the wider stairs in the back of the house to get into the unit if you can get the key to the patio door. A block away from the bay, great for a morning or evening walk.
