Located in Vero Beach, this attractive house for $189 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Come and let us invite you to this charming completely remodeled Mid-Century Floridian Home. We love it and know you will too. Enjoy the beautifully landscaped yard overlooking the large private outdoor pool or have your first cup of Joe on the covered front porch in your rocking chairs, or even go directly to our small Neighborhood Park located beside us. This great location is just 1/2 mile from anything you could ever need and has a huge variety of dining options very close by. Island Time Bungalow is also just a short drive to the many beaches that Vero Beach has to offer. South Beach is a wonderland made up of mangrove walking trails and incredible untouched beaches. Where to start with what is available to you in Vero Beach? Numerous Golf Courses, Tennis, Shuffleboard, Marinas, Fishing, and Sailing. We have some of the best Open Flea Markets and Vegetable Markets around. Island Time Bungalow is located only 90 minutes from Orlando, Cape Canaveral, or West Palm Beach. The Treasure Coast is a very special area on the Eastern Florida coastline. We have a barrier Island and an Intercoastal waterway that boasts the brackish water of the Indian River and Vero Beach's long history for the best citrus on all of the East Coast. Vero Beach also boasts a beautiful vintage downtown scene and many great dining locations. We have set up the house for all your needs. The home was as expected! Neighborhood very safe and friendly. The pool was fantastic! The beds very comfortable. We are coming back. Wendy is a wonderful hostđź‘Ť

Recently stayed 7 weeks. Not good: The walls and widows are very thin and you can hear everything outside.Especially the two dogs behind the house that bark constantly.The curtains do not block out any of the light coming in.Up at 7am because of light and dogs barking.Everyone in the neighborhood brings their dog to the park door and again, you can hear everything.The fenced in backyard has two corners that a dog can sneak out of so be mindful of that.The fence is also only about 3-4 feet tall.The pipes are old so there is rust in the pipes.Dont use the ice cube trays, buy ice cubes at the store.The washing machine is unusable.As long time renters, one of the first things we look for is washing machine/dryer.If we would have known the washing machine was not usable, we would have never booked this house.Looking back, this issue was listed on previous reviews going all the way back to April of 2022.I give a little credit to Wendy because on day 1, when the room flooded, she bought a new washing machine.The problem is the pipes running under the house have issues.She did then give us a $25 a week laundry refund to use for a laundry service.The dryer works but you have to run it twice to dry clothes.Ive even checked all the areas for clogs/lint and it still had issues drying clothes in one cycle. The beds are ok.I would recommend bringing your own pillows and maybe a foam lay down.No cable, and her streaming is tied to Roku.Its terrible honestly.The tvs are small and Roku just isnt great.You cant log out of their streaming sites either and use your own.Be ready for the town public works people to come mowing the lawn at the park directly behind the house and cutting down trees at 7am.I confronted them in my underwear to no avail.Lastly, the listing on vrbo is a little misleading.It states it sleeps 6 with a pull out couch.There is no pull put couch so it only sleeps 4.It also lists a grill.I went hunting for it on day 1 because I grill a lot.All i found was a sign in the laundry room asking for the grill to be put back in that spot.I contacted Wendy who told me it broke and was never replaced (which kind of was a common theme of our stay).The good:The house is ok.Some decent upgrades in kitchen.Pool is great when it was warm out.The concrete is a little uneven in the yard so watch your toes.Appliances were good.plenty of utensils/pot and pans/cups/plates.Everything is within a mile, beaches 10-15 minutes.I felt safe in the area for the most part.

We had a very nice visit, the house was in good condition and all appliances worked well. It was a little too cold for swimming in the pool, but a very nice pool it is. This is a great location close to everything shopping, the beaches, the ballfield. I found communicating with the management was a little complicated at times the number listed in the house to call always took too long to get a response back. I did later find out that it was best to do communication through the VRBO app. Other than that the visit was very nice.

We were there visiting, immediate family over the Christmas weekend. The location was five minutes away from their house and was in a great neighborhood. Very quiet and peaceful on low traffic street. 2 minutes away from Publix and Walmart along with multiple restaurants.

We had a great vacation at the bungalow. The pool was an added bonus for everyone. The property was clean and centrally located for shopping and dining. We would definitely stay here again!

House well decorated, TV big disappointment - almost all channels hours behind, dirty windows, no screens, water and ice dispenser not working, Washer didn’t work, no grill, hard plastic covers on mattresses, missing light bulbs.

Comfy bungalow with a great pool
The beds were spacious and comfy. The pool was perfect on a hot day and towels are provided. The air conditioner worked well which kept us cool at night and the fans kept the air circulated. The indoor decor was welcoming. It was nice to have a full sized refrigerator and dishwasher.

We were in town for our son’s baseball at the Jackie Robinson complex. House is only a 3 min drive max to the complex so very convenient for us! House was clean and cozy for just my wife and teenage daughter (our son stayed with his team). Two king sized beds were amazing. TVs available (we brought our Firestick). No issues with the wifi. VERY close to all amenities, including restaurants, drug stores and Walmart, etc. Pool was great too. We didn’t use the fire pit. Neighborhood is peacefully quiet, no issues at all. Only cons were that the yard keepers came on Sunday morning and Thursday evening at dinner time; and the washing machine didn’t work but not the end of the world for us. Pool was dirty with leaves upon arrival but cleaned on the Monday. This isn’t a knock because it would be impossible to keep the pool perfectly clean without daily cleanings (which I did myself as an owner of a pool). Finally, Wendy was amazing. Very friendly and quick to reply. If we come back to this tourney again, we’ll absolutely get this place again. We had a fabulous time. Thanks Wendy!!!

We came down for my sons HS baseball team to play and stay at the Jackie Robinson facility. Our younger two loved the pool. Right out back, it was perfect. I appreciated the door alarms also for the little one who loved waking up so early and begging to swim. The side yard was great for them to pass baseball and Frisbee. Backyard was nice when we had another set of parents over after dinner one night we enjoyed sitting out by the pool. The kids loved the games and puzzles that Wendy provided there for guest. Having pool toys, beach towels, basically anything we needed there was great. SO close to groceries and restaurants. 5 mins from the baseball facility and 10-12 from the beach. Quiet neighborhood and very friendly, always waiving like we were locals. Wendy was amazing to work with also and always quick to answer my questions. The house is decorated so well and I loved the beach feel we got when we pulled up. We are hoping our team returns so we can rent from Wendy again! ***** stars and so many more!!! Everything was as expected minus the circulation of water in the pull due to a low water level. The proximity to the Jackie Robinson Training Facility and stores was fantastic. We have talked about the possibility of renting this property in the future for the same reason.

Lefler stay
The house and pool area had a lot of space and was very well decorated. A little noisy from the airport, BUT other areas of Vero Beach has train. So it was a wash from that standpoint. Maintenance pool and landscaper did a fine job.

Vero Beach Pool house retreat
We were the first tenants for this unit so ther was still a few projects that were in progress. Overall, Our stay was wonderful and we would definitely rent this house again on a return stay. The accommodations were as described and Wendy was very responsive to any inquiries or special requests. It is conveniently located in quiet neighborhood with easy access to shopping and beaches. We definitely recommend this as a destination for a sun filled escape.
