This was the perfect place for a weekend trip to the Flint Hills. Love the small town friendliness of Council Grove. We walked to local restaurants and the brewery, didn't need our car in town at all. Apartment was very comfy and I loved the decor. Kitchen seemed appropriately stocked. We didn't cook so can't say for sure we would've had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy - wished we would've looked at the brand before we left, ha! Despite a bar across the street and other residents in the building, noise was never an issue (if you ignore the sparrow nest outside the windows. Not a whole lot the owner could do about that and still not a big issue). Christy was very responsive to questions. Only reason I took a star off cleanliness was because of all the dust on the window sills and food in the fridge. We weren't sure if it was for us or left by the last renters. It all appeared unopened. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Had a wonderful stay loved the location and the history of the building. Walking distance for shopping, restaurants, coffee. Will definitely stay again

Wonderful location downtown, thoughtful Host.I visited Tallgrass Prairie on Wednesday, biked the Flint Hills Trail on Thursday; dined at Hays House, and the Trail Cafe (immersive history lesson). Beautiful time to be in the Flint Hills

We just had a quick one-night stay but the apartment would have been comfy for a longer visit. Attractive decor, fully-equipped kitchen, central location, good reading material. Fun place!
