About this condo rental
Nestled in Lago Vista, this charming condo for $150 per night is a great option for your next trip. Casa Diana is a corner unit with an incredibly private balcony offering a 180-degree view of the main body of Lake Travis. The bedroom has a soaring 2 story ceiling with walls of windows overlooking the lake. Enjoy dining al fresco on the balcony while enjoying a fabulous sunset view over the lake. This is by far one of the best, most private locations on the Island close to the pools, hot tubs, gym and restaurant. This particular unit is located directly across the lake from the popular cliff jumping and slack lining parts of Pace Bend Park (when water levels allow). The beautiful limestone cliffs and rocky coves are easily accessed via kayaks and or stand up paddles boards. It is so much fun to watch the cliff divers when lake levels allow from our balcony . Pace Bend has nine miles of undeveloped shoreline on Lake Travis and is one of the most popular areas in the Highland Lakes region. PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT ACCEPT LONG TERM RESERVATIONS FROM MARCH THRU SEPTEMBER. NO PETS-NO KIDS-NO EXCEPTIONS! This resort style property offers: 2 outdoor pools and hot tubs, 1 indoor heated lap pool, hot tub, dry sauna, fitness center, full service spa for massages, mani/pedis etc., newly refinished tennis/ pickle ball courts.There is also lake access when lake levels allow, onsite parking, boat docks with daily rentals upon request, 2 onsite shared coin operated washer/dryer facilities and free WIFI throughout complex. FYI-Lake Travis is 40+ feet low, however, our unit is located facing the main body and is located on a very deep stretch of the lake with gorgeous limestone bluffs so our view is still spectacular. Casa Diana is beautifully decorated and has 2 large screen TV's, games, pickle ball rackets and balls, fully stocked kitchen with Keurig, regular Mr. Coffee maker and everything you could possibly need to make gourmet meals, etc. You never have to leave the condo to get views of the lake from every room. Wake up to an amazing view of the lake right outside your bedroom windows. This unit has a king sized bed. Being a corner unit, there are no units located above or on one side of this unit and no plug-in chemical deodorizers are used. You can be totally relaxed on ‘Island’ time or as busy as you want with many area activities. There is an onsite boutique store, A Beautiful Place to Be, where you can rent stand-up paddle boards, tennis/pickle ball rackets with balls, fishing poles, deer corn and chic ‘Island Attire’, etc. Downtown Austin is 50 minutes away. There are deer and wild life on the Island. Pickle ball rackets and balls are provided in unit. The community is very quiet and mixed with full time residents and short term renters. On the left (south) side of the property are tennis and pickle ball courts. You will also find BBQ grill (charcoal required) and a picnic area near lake and cliffs. On the right side of the property, you will find the boat docs, parking for trailers, a BBQ and fire pit (used when not in a burn ban). A maximum of 2 adults are allowed! If you violate these terms, you will be subject to forfeiting your security deposit and will be asked to leave with no refund of rents paid. There is onsite security to enforce violations.

We had a wonderful time in Lago Vista! The condo was as advertised. The rooms were clean and neat! Everything in the condo was labeled and instructions were clear and understandable! The condo was loaded with all the cooking utensils you needed to prepare food in the kitchen. We ate meals in town for breakfast and dinner. We hung out in the pool and hot tub! The wife was very pleased with our 6 day stay!😉

Perfect villa! Perfect host!!! Amazing views and amenities! Great pricing. YOU must enjoy for yourself. Bed so comfortable you want to take it home with you (said my daughter). The pictures online is an understatement of how beautiful this place really is. So peaceful as well. I booked the villa for a few days as a surprise 10yr anniversary getaway present for my daughter and son in law while I kept their 5 beautiful children. The host went above and beyond in helping me pull off the surprise and I'm sooooo grateful! She also has EVERYTHING you could need available for you. It's also an awesome Spa on the property and I scheduled couple massages and pedicures and they loved it. The property has an outdoor AND an indoor pool with hot tub and sauna. Absolutely amazing!!!! I can't wait to book a getaway here for myself in the springtime! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Amazeballs!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I enjoyed the quiet and peaceful surroundings. We stayed the week of Thanksgiving so there weren't very many people. The rooms were clesn and stocked with everything we needed. The host left lots of helpful information about things to do.

My husband and I wanted a quick trip in the Austin area. This island condo fit our needs perfectly.. we were able to go to Marble Falls , Pedernales Falls State Park, LBJ (Johnson State Park) and even a trip into Austin for bike riding on the Southwestern Walnut Creek Trail at Govalle neighborhood park . We also shopped at Duluth Trading Co, Trader Joe’s & IKEA as well as going to the Inner Space Caverns in Georgetown.

My husband and I had a fabulous time, the condo is beautiful, well equipped and comfortable. Diana was a pleasure to work with, the info she puts together for her guests was wonderful. When I say, I will visit this place in a heartbeat, I mean it!!!! I am not an outdoors person, but I literally stayed outside on the balcony the entire 4 days!!. The place was clean and beautiful, but the scenery took the cake!!! And to top it off, Mrs. Diane gave us a late checkout without having to ask!!! I will definitely visit this condo again and again!!

The wife and I had a wonderful and relaxing time during our stay. The near by restaurants had amazing food. Everything we wanted to do was relatively close by, but we really enjoyed the view of the lake as well as watching the local deer roaming around. Despite the crazy summer heat we were still able to enjoy some outdoor activities. 10/10 recommend this stay

My wife and I had an amazing time. The property is beautiful with outstanding views. The balcony literally made it impossible to spend any indoor time. Our host Diana was easy to communicate with and her attention to detail was spot on. She will provide you with information to make your stay fool proof. From the moment you arrive at the gate, to the choices of food and things to do. She will provide everything in an easy to follow PDF attached email, a couple of days before your stay. Our experience was very welcoming overall.

My husband and I were looking for an easy, relaxing weekend spot on the water and this place was perfect. The views of the cliffs and lake were beautiful! We loved having breakfast on the balcony and then enjoying the pool for an hour by ourselves! Walking the grounds and seeing deer and gorgeous lake views was so lovely! The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need, and the hostess provides great directions, labels, and suggestions for food and activities. We would 100% stay here again!

The Island is a beautiful place to stay and everything is really nice, and this condo is just as stellar as the rest of the property. First, the view of the lake is outstanding, so the patio is a great place to relax with some coffee and a book. In addition, the unit itself did not lack for anything. A/C worked great in the hot summer, both TVs had a high quality picture, the kitchen is fully stocked and the couch and bed are each very comfortable. I would highly recommend Diana's private villa!!

We needed a vacation from our family vacation! We planned in advance knowing we’d want a break from family/kids. Diane (Manager/Owner) was the perfect but silent host. Everything we needed to know was either in a pdf, a booklet in the apt, or neat and handy do’s n dont’s labeled throughout the apt. Ample gas for grilling, every creature comfort you could think of! And CLEAN! Wifey didn’t have to clean or Lysol anything but the tv remotes. They weren’t dirty or nasty. She’s just OCD like that. She said she felt like she was at home. And that’s difficult to earn from this lady. Can’t wait to come back and rent the same unit! Thanks! You guys seem like you’ve been doing this for a long time!

Very clean, nicely decorated and quaint location. We had a very comfortable and relaxing time. The only thing we could not do was sit on balcony very much due to wasps/yellow jackets ( understandable due to beautiful flowers/ tree located there) Appreciated all the little extras there for use, very thoughtful.

I spent a week here visiting family, friends and taking in the views. The condo is perfectly positioned overlooking the lake for gorgeous sunrises and sunsets! It was also exactly the place to stay to work remotely during the day and had all of the amenities to make me feel at home. In the afternoon, the pool was refreshing and clean! The owner was also great - communication was timely, she was thoughtful in her recommendations and guidance to ensure my stay was exactly as I had planned. Five stars all around! Thanks Diana! My husband and I had the most relaxing escape at this hidden gem of a property. The condo was perfect for two people. On the first day we relaxed by the pool, which was right by the unit, played some pickle ball and then the highlight of our day was having champagne and watching the incredible lake view of the sunset from our balcony. On our second day we ventured into town for a hike, picked up some food at a local food truck park and then relaxed by the pool again. Of course that was followed by another spectacular sunset and champagne. There was so much more we would have loved to do and can’t wait to plan our next get away. Thank you for sharing such an enchanting place with us.

This condo was a great place for my husband and I to get away and celebrate our 32nd anniversary! We enjoyed grilling steaks and burgers on the gas grill and watching boats on the water, including a hydroplane take off! The corner condo is quiet, nicely decorated, and has a lot to offer. Beautiful view of the lake and pool from the condo balcony. Well-stocked kitchen with condiments, spices, coffee pods, tea bags, filtered water pitcher, cooking utensils, etc. Super comfy king bed. Awesome water pressure in the shower. Reserved garage parking spot. Board games, pool noodles, binoculars, and more. Communication with host Diana was great too! Her pre-arrival package was very informative and directions to the condo were spot on. Worth a stay.

My spouse and I have stayed at the island multiple times but this was our first time staying at Diana’s condo. The location of the condo is private with a perfect view of the sunset. Inside the condo, she has kindly labeled almost everything which makes it is much easier to find what you need. The check-in and check-out processes were a breeze. Thank you Diana! The pictures don't tell an accurate story. The location is, well lets just say "rough". The property needs a lot of work.
Things that are broken or closed don't get relayed to you until it's too late to cancel. The condo is just ok...it was clean though. we were going to stay 2 nights but left after 1. if you aren't going to go out on the lake, there isn't much else to do without driving 45 minutes or an hour.
the owners were very nice but we wont be back. Sorry.

The host has went above and beyond with this listing. Everything in the villa was clearly noted and labeled with instructions. The Villa was very clean and easy to access. We enjoyed the balcony and grill. This place is the perfect place to relax and release, definitely recommend and will return.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is just breathe taking. I soaked up the beauty of the lake throughout my entire stay. The host has everything labeled, and even an instruction card on how to work the remote! Loved that. All in all I had a nice stay and plan to stay again in the future! As a mom of 4 I was in need of some serious alone time and this rental was absolutely amazing for it. The property is tucked away on a stunning part of Lake Travis. The view was so peaceful. I went during the off season so the property was pretty quite. I actually only saw a handful of people my 4 day stay. The sun sets from the balcony we’re just stunning. The property is a bit older but was clean and comfortable. There’s a spa on property, the massage and facial were great and I’d book those again. I’d advise just being sure you’re very aware of what you’re booking and getting. I was overcharged quite a bit and when asked about why she didn’t give a very clear explanation. I wasn’t in the mood to argue so just left. For couples that go there were several games to chose from which would have been fun to play. The kitchen was stocked amazingly. Overall it was a wonderful get away and I’ll likely be back with my husband at some point.
