Located just eight miles from the beaches in South Padre, this home is perched on the water with easy access to the Laguna Madre and views of the channel. Dine alfresco on the expansive covered deck, or spend sun-soaked days at the community pools. Explore a plethora of restaurants, shops, and convenient amenities just 1.5 miles away in downtown Port Isabel. While here, you can also enjoy access to other Long Island Village community amenities, including a gym, tennis, basketball courts, and an on-site restaurant. Relax in style in the open living area, furnished with a comfy sofa, a love seat, and chairs. Watch your favorite shows on the 50” cable TV. The chef in your group will appreciate the modern kitchen, equipped with a full suite of stainless steel appliances. When your culinary creations are complete, dine together at the table. Spend peaceful mornings gazing at the water from the covered deck, offering plenty of seating. Or host a family cookout with the charcoal and gas grills. Soak up the sun at the Long Island Village community pool, or relax in the heated indoor saltwater pool (both pools are 8’ deep). Find quiet privacy in the primary bedroom, which is furnished with a TV and DVD player. An en-suite bathroom is configured with a double vanity and tub/shower combination. SHARED AMENITIES -Pool -Hot tub -Fitness room -Basketball court -Tennis court -Pool table THINGS TO KNOW This one-story home is accessible via three steps. A small staircase is necessary to access the water. A required $90 resort fee is payable on-site. This fee covers parking passes, as well as access to the community amenities (pools, basketball, pickleball, tennis, and a gym). The golf course is not included in the resort fee. Parking is strictly enforced in this community. Please ensure your vehicle completely fits in the parking space. The welcome center is available after hours, if guests wish to visit. This property is registered with the City of South Padre Island, Permit #201. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 1. Dock details: You are NOT allowed to dock boats at this home. There is a fish cleaning station off the dock. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Small place but very reasonably priced considering the accommodations and location. Awesome fishing right off the dock. Stocked with all the utensils we needed. Pots and pans are a little dated but certainly fulfilled our short term needs. House is a little tight for more than a couple but the large porch make up the room…. You will run out of people before you run out chairs.

Amazing place with excellent night fishing right of the dock! The host was so nice... she greeted us, let us use her dock to fish next door, and even offered my mom a ride to the airport. Great place. 5 min drive to the beach.

We normally stay in south padre, we decided to try a different location, we really liked the area, every morning while sitting on the big patio we watched the hugh barges going through the canal, dolphins & the variety of birds. Everything was great. Would consider this again.

Perfect location for a family vacation. Plenty of activities to do near home, but also enjoy just relaxing on the deck and watching the day go by. Plenty of wildlife and sea life right outside your door.

Very nice property with everything you need. Note though that the boat lift pictured is not allowed for guest use. This was very disappointing since we had a boat and this was a main reason we rented the property. I recommend Turnkey make this clear in the property description or remove the boat lift picture since it is misleading.

2 Guests stayed for seven nights in early-mid December 2020. Small home of 846 sq. ft., with large deck area. We did not use the community amenities during this time of covid-19.Positives: location near South Padre and wildlife sanctuaries; good waterfront view with large, comfortable deck; kitchen well stocked with utensils and small appliances; large kitchen island very helpful; parking on lot makes for easy loading/unloading; good view of Jupiter and Saturn after sunset, but direct sun in late afternoon discouraged being on the deck.Negatives: rooms were very cluttered with personal items of owner's family; pictures in ad did not reflect current degree of clutter and current re-arrangement of furniture; it was hard to move about in bedrooms and especially in kitchen/dining area even with just 2 people; laundry closet area in master bath was not clean, and we found sand and paper in washer; propane grill was grungy, so we cleaned up the charcoal grill and used that instead; contrary to Turnkey's home info list, a password is required for internet access and it can be found on the router inside the TV stand in the living room.The refrigerator was leaking on the floor before we arrived, so there was a puddle and a very wet rubber mat next to kitchen island. Towels and a small fan we brought worked fine to keep it dry enough, and we reported it to Turnkey upon departure. We assume it is an ongoing problem and chose to deal with it rather than have repair people there during covid-19.We enjoyed the area during our stay, but would probably choose a different property next time, mostly because of the crowded/cluttered conditions we experienced. The house is staged nicely for the pictures but that's not what we found.
