Beds are too soft, the door was parched on the bottom and didn’t have the chain lock.

I had a satisfactory stay. I took my puppy. They only charged me $15. I really appreciated.

Simple, Clean. Clean pool. Nice landscaping. It’s an older motel so you can’t expect greatness. It’s about less than a 10 minute drive from South Padre Island.

Location. Very close to South Padre Island. Also close to Walmart and restaurants. It’s also close to a fishing pier.

I loved my birthday weekend getaway.

when checking in i was greeted by a very friendly, courteous, and helpful receptionist, the room was very clean and comfortable, a lot of space to move around in, i really enjoyed having the sofa, desk, and extra fridge which came in handy, the pool area was well kept and everyone seemed to be having a great time, the local restaurants in port isabel are great, i especially liked a tortilleria that served authentic mexican food, the short drive through the causeway to SPI is amazing, you can admire South Padre Island's beauty, it was a great birthday weekend getaway.

i did not like leaving...lol

Roaches, suppose to have continental breakfast but still blames covid but in reality they r to cheap to go get it.

Great location, ok prices, probably will pay more to stay somewhere nicer next time.

Great location! Close to restaurants and grocery stores.

A lot of the property needs to be repaired/updated. Almost all stairs and railings are extremely rusted, some all the way through. Avoid staying on the pool end of the hotel if you go to bed before 10. All 3 nights there were large families with kids and loud music at the pool until close to midnight. Not hating, just difficult to keep our 2 kids under 8 asleep.

Great location to local needs like Walmart and a variety of eating establishments, plus it is really convenient to South Padre Island where Hotels go for a much higher rate. Good value for the money.

we would definitely stay here again simply because it was clean and the AC worked so well.

Fantastic stay and well attended.

They have recently updated and painted (basically sanitized) their rooms. The rooms were very clean. Their customer service was very good. The morning and night staff always greeted us with a smile and were very friendly. If you are looking to go to the island, but don't want to pay the hefty island hotel fees, then this is a perfect spot. You can spend all day and night at the island and relax and sleep away from the traffic.

No complaints about the hotel. Hotel is great. BUt there are many cops along the South Padre island road and they catch each and every one who is even a little over the speeding limit. Be careful.

Disappointing

The room was smelly and the towels too old and worn out. I was charged extra for a wrist band that was supposed to work as a filter with the guards but I never saw a guard making sure outsiders weren't entering the hotel. I was as well charged for pet cleaning and the only "mess" was that they saw a few dog food and their diaper on the trash, I am sure people leaves the place way messier than that and they are not charged extra for that cleaning. It is disappointing that the rate is already too high and the service is not even close to the value. I will never return to this property nor recommend ir
