TOP OF THE WORLD sits directly on a green ski slope with SKI-IN/SKI-OUT access to the Soaring Eagle high speed lift (conditions permitting). Hoot's Bar & Grill, Ski Shop, and Equipment Rentals on site (winter only).

Our condo is located on the South side of Snowshoe Mountain Resort, home to the best skiing and snowboarding the Southeast has to offer. In summer, there is Mountain Biking, Adventure Tours, Hiking and water activities at Shavers Lake. Gary Player's RAVEN Golf Club is 15 minutes away at the base of the mountain.

FOLLOW THE SIGNS FOR TOP OF THE WORLD/MOUNTAINTOP CHECK IN:
Our building is tan with a green roof. You will see a sign for 'Mountaintop Check In' DO NOT ENTER THERE. Continue past that first set of doors and enter through the second set of doors on the left.

Turn right at the first hallway and follow that until you see the elevators on your left. Take the elevator up to the Second Floor.

OUR CONDO IS SELF-CHECK IN: Press the top button on the keypad; this will make the numbers light up. Enter the code we sent you and you will hear the door unlock.

We live at Snowshoe year-round and can easily be reached via VRBO messaging to answer questions or provide information about the condo, resort, etc. Any issues with your lodging will be addressed promptly.

SHUTTLE SERVICE: It’s convenient, FREE, and allows you to travel all over the summit area without having to drive or find a parking spot. Availability and hours vary. Call 5808 from the unit phone for more info or to request a pick up. The shuttle stop is right in front of our building.

EVENT & ACTIVITY TICKETS: We recommend you buy tickets in advance as there may be limits on the number of tickets sold. You can buy tickets or pick up your pre-purchased tickets at The Depot, located in the village across from Expedition Rentals.

RENTAL EQUIPMENT: If you need to rent equipment, your best bet is to do it on the mountain. If you have any issues with your equipment, it can be fixed or replaced locally.

GETTING HERE:
There is no Wifi coverage in many areas surrounding the resort and Wifi coverage on the mountaintop is variable. Below are local driving directions to help you find our building. Make sure you have access to the building name, unit number and code to unlock the door. IF YOU PLAN TO ARRIVE AFTER 10PM, THERE IS NO AFTER HOURS ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE.

>IF YOU’RE COMING FROM RT. 219: Turn onto Rt. 66/Cass Rd. Go about 1/2 mile and turn left onto Snowshoe Drive. Follow Snowshoe Drive for approximately 7 miles. You'll pass the Village, the chapel, Wildcat Provisions, and several condo developments. Once you pass Logger's Run on the left, take the 2nd left turn. Turn left at the next intersection and follow the road around the large parking lot until you see a tan building with a green roof--that's Top of the World.

>IF YOU’RE COMING FROM CASS SCENIC RAILROAD: Follow Rt. 66/Cass Rd. for about 6 miles. Turn right onto Snowshoe Drive. Follow Snowshoe Drive for approximately 2-1/2 miles. Look for the sign for Soaring Eagle Lodge & Top of the World and turn right there. Turn left at the next intersection and follow the road around the large parking lot until you see a tan building with a green roof--that's Top of the World.

There are security cameras operating inside and outside the building and grounds. Our unit has a camera outside our front door.
