Welcome to the Dam Hotel, built in 1938 and was once home to the workers building the Pensacola Dam. This Dam created the Grand Lake O' The Cherokee's in 1940. Since that time this hotel has been many businesses and is now a newly remodeled Boutique Hotel,

We were in town for 4 days for a family reunion and 50th anniversary celebration. The property was very clean with nice furnishings. There are steps to climb to reach the property but it only added to the rustic feel. Inside was clean and spacious. Our contact person was prompt and accommodating to our needs during our stay.

We loved the place. The web description was completely accurate. The place was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 kiddos. We loved the deck for sitting and eating on. Perfect location in the center of town. Easy to get to the trails.
