Nestled in Mexico Beach, this attractive house for $322 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. *June and July require 7 day booking Saturday - Saturday* Immerse yourself in the beauty and tranquility of Mexico Beach at this beautiful, newly remodeled cottage in the Waterside Village Neighborhood just across the street from the powdery white sand and clear ocean water. This 4 bedroom/ 2.5 bath home known as Starfish Cottage, is located on the canal with a boat dock and perfect fishing spot! Enjoy the sunsets while sitting on one of our 3 balconies with ocean views or a canal view in the back. The kids (and adults too) are sure to be entertained with the games in the loft or the beach toys and equipment left for you to use. No need to pack beach toys or towels! Neighborhood pool is a short walk down the dock. Our cleaner spends hours cleaning and sanitizing prior to your stay. Ozone air purifier is used between each stay to ensure a safe, healthy trip for you! LIVING AREAS Curl up on the sofa and love seat or the oversized leather chair surrounding the 60' TV to watch a movie or relax after a day in the sun. KITCHEN & DINING Enjoy making family meals in the fully stocked kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances and helpful gadgets including a coffee maker (pot or pods) and a toaster. When dinner is ready, gather around the dining table with seating for 6 or have a seat at the kitchen island on the 3 barstools. BEDROOMS This home sleeps up to eight guests between the 4 bedrooms. The bedroom mattresses and quilts were just updated for a good nights sleep. EXTRA AMENITIES Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer & dryer, hair dryers in each full bathroom and wifi speakers in the kitchen to enjoy some music while inside. Driveway parking available for 1 car and garage parking available for 1 additional vehicle. A plethora of beach/pool toys, fishing poles, beach chairs, coolers, paddle board and bicycles are available for you to enjoy in the garage! You will also have access to our community pool and hot tub. SAFETY We are in a quiet area with a gated entry with pass code only. Our exterior cameras are on and recording at each exit to monitor for wildlife and any unwanted activity. THE LOCATION This property boasts a prime location just a short walk to local restaurants, food trucks and shopping.

This was the first time I stayed in a place not directly on the beach. However, the walk is so short it felt as though we were directly on the beach. We had an amazing time. We enjoyed the coffee shop and Mango Marleys were all an easy walk to enjoy. The home was clean and had planet of room. We really enjoyed the balconies. I plan to come back and stay here again. It was a very relaxing stay for us all.

We really enjoyed out stay! The only issue we had was keeping the littles off the stairs. LOL But it was great, no issues and would recommend it highly for a family or friends to enjoy.

Our family of four stayed late July and loved the space, location and amenities! We could have comfortably added another family in the home. All the kitchen supplies and beach supplies you need and more. We made use of the paddle board, fishing supplies and beach wagon. Loved the location on the canal - we saw four manatees right off the private dock! Only saw them one afternoon, so not sure if it was a rare occurrence but it was amazing. Very easy, short walk to the beach, thanks to the provided wagon. The water quality was excellent and the same as the rest of Mexico Beach (was initially worried about being close to the canal outlet). Would definitely stay here again! Kristin was amazing at communicating. Walked to Shell Shack for fresh fish, walked to coffee shop, Crazy Beach Pizza, Marina and the adorable shops. Location was PERFECTION! Pool was clean and comfortable. Mexico Beach is a gem of a town and we can't wait to return!

The house was exactly as pictured - we were very happy with the location and all amenities. The owners have thought of everything and the house is well stocked. I panicked when my kids wanted to go looking for crabs at night - I didn't pack flashlights! But of course there were some ready for us in the garage. We will definitely be back!

We are a family of 8 that stayed Starfish Cottage for a week. The vacation rental was amazing. It had everything we needed and more. We really didn’t need to bring anything except our clothes and food. The host thought of everything and it was the best rental we have ever stayed in. The rental was very clean and updated. The short walk to the beach and the pool were very easy. We were worried about parking but we were able to park one car out front and one in the garage and luckily there was parking at the end of the row of homes for us to park with a short walk. The host was very responsive and we will definitely be staying here again and referring the rental to friends and family.

Just bring yourself! This home has it all! We had two families (4 adults and 4 kids) and just needed a quick trip to the grocery. These owners supplied the chairs, toys and the carts to carry it all to and from the beach! Very spacious with beautiful views! Don’t let the walk across the street stop you from booking here - it was a PERFECT vacation! We will definitely be returning!

The Starfish Cottage proved to be the perfect house for seven adult cousins of various ages to get together and enjoy each other’s company for a long weekend. The house is spacious and spread out enough over three floors that we never felt cramped or crowded. We appreciated the cleanliness of the house and enjoyed all the comforts of home while being in a beautiful beach area. On the backside of the cottage is a water canal with a boardwalk. We weren’t able to stroll around it as it is currently under repair, but once it is completed it will be nice to walk around to the pool. The Waterside Village pool is large, the water sparkling clean, and the design provided ease of entry for all ages. Our weekend proved to be a beautiful one and we enjoyed being able to walk across the highway to access the beach. The only concern with the house was the two levels of stairs that made it a little difficult for some to maneuver, but we managed them very carefully. Everyone agreed they would love to return very soon!

House was nice & had plenty of room for our 4 Adults & 3 Children party. Everything is nice, clean & well maintained. The only small thing I had concerns about was the dock area. It had shards of wood & screws sticking up which was a concern with us & children stepping on & hurting our feet. One of the boards to the steps to the dock is loose & about to fall off which is a falling hazard. Other than that everything else was great.

Great stay. Lovely furnishings, well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds. Lot’s of stairs with no bedrooms on first floor so not for people with mobility issues. Was great for my family though. Would definitely recommend to friends.

I came with a group of friends for my birthday and we had a wonderful time. The house was very nice and the furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, including usable knives. While the master bedroom was beautiful and very comfortable, I don't recommend anyone who is sensitive to light for waking stay in there. The sun rises directly into the bedroom. It was still gorgeous!

We had a great time staying at this house! It was perfect to fish from the canal or walk just across the street to the beach.The beach equipment provided was a nice addition. We walked to shops and restaurants nearby. We will definitely be back and will rent this house again!

This house was even better in person! There was ample space for my family of 4 and very easy access to the beach! The beach equipment in the garage was a great addition. Loved our stay at the beach. The home was gorgeous and very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and drinking our morning coffee. The beach is a very short walk from house and the sunsets were absolutely stunning! We will definitely recommend this to our friends. Can’t wait to visit again!
