About this house rental
Just outside of the Paso Robles AVA, this vacation rental is part of the historical Asuncion ranch. The property has been preserved to retain its' historical use. This home is ready to entertain with a fully stocked kitchen, Santa Maria style grill, firepit with seating, pool, hot tub, and living room with projector and home theater. The home offers four bedrooms, with the configuration of three traditional bedrooms and one bunkroom. The owners' bedroom has ocean views. The other bedrooms have hillside and garden views. The living room features a 4K projector, home theater, piano, and fireplace with a dedicated siting area.

This property was nothing short of amazing. Everything we needed was there. Just bring food and you have no need to go anywhere else. Our son was graduating from Cal Poly and its was an easy 40 min drive to campus. The pool was wonderful and heated. Views were breathtaking. The peace and quiet was perfect. The cows were a bonus to see. Would have loved to stay a week. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the ranch. It was clean and supplied well but it’s the unique location that makes this property stand out. We enjoyed the outstanding territorial views and loved watching the clouds roll in from the ocean. The heated pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained and beds were very comfortable. We really felt at home here and look forward to returning in the future.

This place was exactly what we needed, a gorgeous relaxing and fun place for the family to spend a long weekend before school started. The pool was the highlight, but everything about the house was great. Honestly, we rarely book the same place on VRBO, but I think in this case we will be coming back!

The house itself is spacious and well appointed. The backyard grounds were well kept but the front & side yard grounds seemed neglected; dead and empty pots and plots and overgrown plants. We arrived eager to sit by the fire pit & toast the sunset only to find the pit didn't work and did not work our entire stay. We were shocked to find the children's room was detached from the main house by a large courtyard and did not have a bathroom! The children had to walk across the large courtyard in the rain, fog and cold in the middle of the night to use a bathroom. Luckily we had brought air mattresses and sleeping bags and the spacious home provided alternate sleeping quarters. We were able to use a walk in closet and a sitting room between the bedrooms for alternate sleeping quarters for some children. The house sleeps ten yet the dining room table had only 8 mismatched low chairs for a high dining room table. There were nice places to gather and, a great fireplace, as well as the movie theatre. The pool and hot tub were great and we were pleasantly surprised to find the pool was heated. The onsite helper and Nick were easy to contact and responsive.
