Situated in Cayuga Lake, this lovely house for $407 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Enjoy our cozy three bedroom, one bathroom cottage right on beautiful Cayuga Lake at peaceful Elm Beach. PLEASE NOTE: for the 2024 season, we are no longer using VRBO and are transitioning to Air B n b (property #53895173) for all further booking - please look us up on that site for more information and booking details! The main living space has A/C and heat. Relax with the breeze and lake views from comfortable Adirondack seating on the front porch and private dock. The large shady back yard is perfect for yard games or relaxing on the back porch. An idyllic setting with proximity to all that the Finger Lakes has to offer - enjoy exploring miles of hiking trails, dozens of wineries, and so much more! This cottage is nestled on a peaceful side road that is level with the shores of Cayuga Lake! We recommend starting your day with coffee to watch the sunrise over the lake from the expansive front porch or the comfy Adirondack chairs on the dock. Early mornings on the lake are so serene and offer some of the best fishing and birdwatching opportunities! Although the surrounding region boasts endless options for food and fun, this space has all you'll need for a fun-filled vacation at your home away from home. Please enjoy full use of our kayaks, paddle board, beachside fire pit (with wood supplied), DVDs, board games, kitchen, and more! Keep an eye out while kayaking to see if you can spot any of the Bald Eagles nesting in the area. For those more inclined to leave the property during your stay, please check out the Guidebook for our local suggestions. At the end of your day, we recommend unwinding by the fire with some tasty s'mores. The beachside fire pit is great, but for rainy nights we also have a hassle-free fireplace on the front porch. Elm Beach Road is a quiet loop off NY Route 89. Please observe the posted speed limit signs and be cautious of pets and children as you drive down the street. As one of the few roads along the lake with lake-level homes, we're fortunate to be able to share this wonderful space with our guests! Take advantage of the short walk across the front yard and onto the "beach"! This is a family-friendly community and we hope that our guests will respect the neighbors and the neighborhood as if it were their own. Although there are some rental properties on the street, many homes are full-time residents of Elm Beach who are close family friends of the hosts. PLEASE NOTE: There is no Wi-Fi at the cottage in an attempt to help us (and our guests) unplug and enjoy our time together and in nature. Located in the center of the Finger Lakes Wine Trail-walking distance to two wineries and over a dozen within a ten mile radius. A great area to enjoy nature, birding, and a short drive to several state parks and hiking areas (Taughannock State Park, Buttermilk Falls, Treman State Park, Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge to name a few). Local seasonal fruit picking (cherries, blueberries, peaches, apples, grapes), and Amish farm stands and baked goods.
