Situated in Canandaigua Lake, this lovely house for $1,850 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This lovely luxury property on the western shores of Canandaigua Lake is situated on a quiet private lane and fully outfitted with everything you'll need to enjoy your time here - any time of year! With plenty of bedrooms and multiple gathering spaces there's enough room for everyone to work, study, relax and play. The lake is just steps away and the beautiful lake views help create a calming atmosphere both inside and out. It's a feeling you truly won't forget! The first floor is an open floor plan with wood floors, a full kitchen, granite island with stools, lovely sitting area with fireplace (propane) and flat screen tv, and a dining area. The large full bath is off the center hall. Huge sliding glass doors open to the year round porch with 180 degree views of the lake and 2 additional seating areas! It's the perfect spot to work on a jigsaw puzzle, catch up on your favorite novel or enjoy a post-ski/swim nap - if you can take your eyes off the amazing views of Canandaigua Lake! The second floor has perfect spaces for all, including adult children and grandchildren with 3 king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, 1 Queen bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms (2 beds each) with shared hall bath. Best of all is the office/library with an oversized picture window overlooking the lake and yard, and a large desk, printer, and comfy seating area. The full laundry room is conveniently located off the center hallway on the 2nd floor. The professionally landscaped yard has an outdoor dining area with seating for 12, wood burning fire pit for nightly s’mores or the retelling of favorite family stories, a pair of teak chaise lounges, a large dock with 2 laddered swimming areas - one shallow, one deep, and a private raft moored about 50 yards out in the water. Enjoy using one of our 3 kayaks, or bring your own water gear to launch from our small private boat ramp. Two adult bikes, a child's bike and razor scooter are stored in the garage, along with a second refrigerator and freezer. We plant an herb garden each spring, which you are free to use (and the deer enjoy too!), and have a composter if you're into recycling food scraps. The quiet private lane is perfect for early morning walks or evening strolls where you might just spot a local bald eagle or a family of deer. If inclement weather hits and you need an indoor activity we have you covered! Discover a great read from our collection of favorite books in the office, break out a jigsaw puzzles from the closet and give it a go, challenge someone to one of our many board games, build Legos to your heart's content with our bin of over 10,000 pieces, or head down to the unfinished basement for ping pong, billiards, or binge watching on the flat screen TV. Dad’s Cottage is the perfect place to create your lasting family memories!

Everything a family could possibly need was provided in this house. The house was very clean and ready when we arrived. The housekeeper was just finishing up her work, so showed us around and left her number in case we needed her assistance. We brought our own boat and tied up at the dock, steps from the house. We used the Kayaks and stand up paddle board as well. The house is very close to Canandaigua, making trips to town and Wegmans very easy. We are talking about going back!

We can’t say enough about this wonderful place…it by far exceeded our expectations. It was everything we could have possibly wanted and more. It did not feel like a rental…it was a “home”. The pictures definitely do not do it justice…it’s even nicer than the pictures. The open floor plan gave us space to all be together but the house is big enough that we could have space to ourselves if we wanted. The location is perfect…close to town and grocery stores (we LOVE Wegmans) as well as right by the yacht club where we could watch the sailboats going by. It was very clean, very well equipped and the beds were all very comfortable. The outdoor space was great too….for gatherings during the day or around the fire pit at night. Our family hadn’t ALL been together in years and this was the perfect spot. We rented boats as well as using the kayaks provided. We could not have asked for a better place to all come together from different parts of the country to celebrate our anniversary. This was the perfect rental and we would highly recommend it.

This is our 4th rental on Canadaigua Lake of a house of this size and by far it was the best. The house was very well maintained and provisioned. Kitchen was very functional and was perfect for our group. The dock was fabulous. Great swimming and fishing right off the dock. Owners were very pleasant and prompt in their communication. I would definitely rent this place again.

Bar none, this is the best rental we have done. The house exceeded our expectations. It was clean, well equipped and in a great location. If you love being with family but also enjoy quiet moments for yourself, this is the place for you. The house is light and airy, and the bedrooms spacious and quiet. Everyone in the family agreed that it was a perfect place to gather. We'll be back..

We had a wonderful time! The house was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need! All the beds were very comfortable as well as the rest of the house. We had 5 adults and 4 kids under the age of 6. They had a ball! The lake was clear as glass and the weather was perfect. We all went to sleep tired! Highly recommend!

An amazing stay at an incredible house!

If you are looking for an amazing place in its entirety, please check this place out! From the roomy, open floor plan, to the linens and immaculate bedrooms, to the beach front and docks, and the location. The owners are responsive to your every need and get back to you right away with questions. The house is incredibly well equipped with everything you could ever think of needing to make your stay easy and comfortable. We had our whole family there for the week, including kids ranging from 5 - 13, and it is the perfect place for all of them. The little cove created by the docks allowed for a shallow swimming area, along with the swim platform allowing for deeper water fun. With close proximity to the town, but far enough away for you to feel like you have disconnected from the hustle, this rental is perfect in every way. We will definitely be back!
