About this house rental

Situated in West Monroe, this attractive house for $79 per night is a great option for your next break. Please read full description. This is a large guest room in my 1 1/2 story home. This room is downstairs and has a queen size bed. The bathroom is right next door to the bedroom. While there is not a private entrance from the bedroom into the bathroom, this bathroom will only be used by guest. I am out of town a lot so you will more than likely have the house to yourself but there is a chance i could be there. Just please double check before booking if you are wanting the house to yourself. You will have access to the kitchen, living room and laundry room; basically everything that’s downstairs. My bedroom/bathroom is the only thing upstairs and off limits to guest. I do have a husky named Kanyon that will be at the house even when I’m gone. She is very kind and self sufficient with automatic food & water and a doggie door. You can give her treats if you like. Just keep your bedroom door closed while you're gone. I keep her out of the bedrooms and off of the furniture. She’s very well behaved and great with other dogs. If you are planning on bringing a pet you must have my approval first. Aggressive breeds are not allowed. I also have a shihtzu that travels with me. He will only be at the house if I'm in town. This is a very quiet, safe subdivision. Safe to walk the neighborhood. There's also a playground at the entrance of the subdivision you could walk or drive to. Town is only about 5 mins away. There are many restaurants that deliver if you like to stay in. Very quiet neighborhood. The host was quick to respond and great communication. I LOVED the dog, she was very friendly and loved getting treats.

Check in/out was seamless. The neighborhood seemed nice and safe. Kanyon(the dog) was friendly and well mannered. However, the air fresheners plugged into outlets in every room in the house to mask the dog smell were overwhelming. We had to unplug the one in our room, it was just too much. The house was little more run down than the pictures made it look, but our room and bathroom were clean. I was mostly disappointed by the fact that a hot tub was listed in the amenities and there wasn’t one.

This place was clean and very comfortable. It’s located in a very safe and clean neighborhood. The host was extremely accommodating. And I will be staying here again if I come back to Monroe.

The host was chill and very accommodating, the house was quiet and cozy, and we loved Canyon’s company throughout our stay. There are a good bit of food places a few minutes from the home as well.

My 2 friends and I stayed the weekend and had a lovely stay! Kanyon the husky is the sweetest dog ever, didn’t bother us at all and we enjoyed the company. The place was clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable! If I ever visit west Monroe again, I would certainly stay here again! Amber was a great host & very communicative.

The owners were away during my stay. I had everything I needed. She was not too far from town. I made use of the washer/dryer, fridge, and microwave. Her dog was a great companion and very well behaved!

Just a fabulous home and host. Had such a fabulous time. This was the first I just rented a room with access to yard and kitchen. It was a wonderful experience and the host went well above and beyond to make my stay super perfect. I definitely see myself returning. This is a perfect location. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood yet 5 min from everything you would ever want. Amber was a 5 star host.
