We spent the Christmas holiday in this house and had a wonderful time. The house is cozy and was very comfortable. We're actually staying here, again we enjoyed it so much!

Our first impression was shock, when we entered the house and there was a HUGE crack and stain in the living room ceiling underneath the upstairs bathroom. When we went into our rooms, we honestly couldn't tell if the bedding had been cleaned. The blankets were stained and really worn. We request 5 towels because there was 5 of us renting. We only found 3 and two of them were ripped down the middle. After leaving several texts and voice mails, then contacting VRBO support, our host answered and brought us over a tote of towels and other bedding. Each year we take this trip to Springfield for the antique show, so our time together is limited. The first two hours of our first evening was spent on the phone with VRBO and the owner trying to get help with the things that should’ve been in place when we arrived…We tried to get a refund from VRBO support because of the conditions. SInce they didn't help us, we went and bought our own blankets and slept on top of the beds. Our host did try to make ammends, but the whole property really needs to be repaired, thoroughly cleaned and updated before someone rents it again.

Host was easy to contact and responded quickly. House was as pictured and although it could use some updating and on a busy road… it was clean and comfortable. Our family enjoyed time here together before my daughters deployed over seas. Would stay here again!

Adequate stay; Host was easy to communicate with and offered any assistance as needed. Home is in good location and proximity to town; however it is on a very busy street with traffic noise you could hear all night. A fan was provided which helped with white noise. The home was clean but is very dated and needs some TLC (multiple blinds broken/ missing slats, older furnishings, gates need repaired, etc) and could use more linens as one bedroom only had a sheet on the bed.

We chose the property because it was dog friendly and we were attending a dog show. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the house or the immediate area. But our stay was very comfortable & we found everything up to our expectations.

I think the stay there was wonderful the house was kept clean and comfortable and Jack was amazing with getting back to me on information I need when I asked I would stay again in the future if I needed a place to stay.

There was mold in the upstairs bathroom, no handrail on the stairs outside, dirty heat register, doors at bathroom & bedroom don’t close tight.

The rental was "as advertised," and we were very satisfied. The rental was clean and orderly, and there was nothing unexpected.

Very satisfied
We didn't get to stay, due to some unforeseen maintenance. The owners were honest, and let us know about the broken furnace before we arrived. A full refund was given the same day. The owners were friendly and timely with communication.

Great experience!
We loved the property. Loved the Bluetooth speakers in the downstairs bathroom especially when we cooked. Not very many pots & pans & the can opener was broken was my only complaint but that is me being picky & we made it work! I also cooked like 6 side dishes so that definitely played a factor. Loved how homey it was & the rain sound machine in the bedroom was an amazing touch. We enjoyed our stay overall. Would totally recommend and stay again.
