Bring your paddleboard or kayak and launch from the slipway opposite, or hire from Caffa Mill. A flat 5 min walk from the town. Car parking is available at The Old Station Yard Car Park a 1 minute walk (100 metres) from house. Watch the Bodinnick ferry while relaxing in the lounge. Go kayaking, paddle boarding. This beautiful 3 bedroom Victorian house was originally owned by the Treffry family from Fowey. The Slipway is opposite Passage Slip, this is where the Bodinnick ferry used to land. You can see author Daphne du Maurier’s Ferryside house (Who wrote Rebecca, The Birds & Jamaica Inn) from the front bedrooms. The house has amazing river & harbour views from the lounge, 1st floor, main bedroom and 2nd floor bedroom. The garden has a great view of river from the top terrace. Relax in the garden having lunch with family & friends. Enjoy sitting on the bench in front garden with a coffee watching the yachts, boats, paddle boards & kayaks exploring the river. Fully equipped kitchen with open plan lounge and dining room. Downstairs toilet. Upstairs on 1st floor are 2 double bedrooms. Main bedroom with king size bed. 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds. Decorated for Christmas from 1 December 2023 Fowey is a fantastic place to go out for a meal, go shopping or go for a walk and enjoy some of the best views in Cornwall. The nearest public electric car charging station is a 3 min drive at Fowey Hall Hotel, Hanson Drive Fowey, PL23 1ET there are others in St Austell and at The Eden Project. Nearest petrol station is the Texaco just outside Fowey at Four Turnings.
