Fantastic high-spec apartment in a historic setting. Beyond expectations. An easy 10 out of 10.

Looking back over my notes I took at the time I said this property is probably one of the best I've ever stayed in in terms of quality, facilities, cleanliness and room layout. The owners have literally thought of everything a traveller could need. A fully functional kitchen diner with Bosch oven, microwave/grill, fridge freezer which the hosts very kindly stocked with bread and buns and fresh milk, and ice cream in the freezer. There was also a pod-style coffee maker with pods provided and a washing machine cleverly built into its own area in the bathroom. The apartment is in a building with just a few other privately-owned apartments in a quiet part of the town only 10 minutes walk from the centre. There is a bar nearby and some customer chatter could be heard in the evening but that disappeared at night so wasn't a problem. The host was very welcoming and patient with me and my lack of Spanish as we communicated via a translation app. Bedroom and en-suite bathroom were all top notch as well and super comfortable. La Antigua Muralla was a fantastic discovery.

A hidden Gem

Everything from before check in messages to after check out messages. The location is just amazing. The restaurant recommendation, thd coffee machine and capsules, not to mention the complementary breakfast. Better than description in Booking

Exceptional

Amazing attention to detail with everything you could need, including breakfast ingredients kindly left. Montse is a wonderful host and offered any help needed. The apartment is in a great location, walks up to the castle, and next to the centre. Friendly bars, great nearby bakery and fruit shop. Everything spotlessly clean. Really comfortable place to stay. Will definitely return.

Acogedor, limpio, completo y una trato excelente por parte de la anfitriona. Todas las facilidades y más.. deja un librito con indicaciones de todo para Burgos y alrededores. Al doblar la esquina, literalmente, estás en el casco antiguo para disfrutar de la ciudad. Muy coqueto, sin estridencias pero no falta de nada.. la anfitriona deja todo a punto y te sientes com en casa. Un sitio perfecto para pasar unos días en Burgos.
