Can't fault the staff enough, the lady that showed me to my room was lovely!
You could tell they'd put a lot of effort into making the room look inviting, the bed was very comfortable and there was free free drinks and snacks which is always an added bonus.
The food in the pub is really good, I'd recommend eating there if you stay. There's also a Sainsbury's opposite which you can grab breakfast from.
Location is good, its a 30 min walk along the river to Tower Bridge.
Unfortunately its very loud, you're above a pub and opposite another so if you're a light sleeper then this isn't the place for you (admittedly it was St Paddys Day so probably louder than usual).
The emergency light above the door is right by the bed and outrageously bright, I understand its a legal requirement but there is definitely a happy medium somewhere in between. Again if you're light sensitive this isn't the place for you.
