We stayed at Gamagara for two nights in December and had a wonderful experience. The staff and service were exceptional, and we enjoyed all our meals at the restaurant. We went on one of their game drives and saw a good variety of animals; although we only spotted the white rhino the following day as we were leaving, it still felt special. The bed was very comfortable, complete with a mosquito net and great pillows. Don’t let the 12 km bumpy road put you off — it’s absolutely worth it.

The stay was excellent, and the Game drive was superb the Game Ranger Bongani was the best very informative and accommodating
There was an opening of the Chapel, and all the attention and focus was on that. this made us felt neglected in some instance.

The breakfast wasn't really a buffet like they said on the website,
Didint like the extra unknown charges,the website shows a certain price for activities and accommodation,but a person is charged spiked prices, the staff also doesn't give guests a choice in terms of the meal preparations,for instance the dinner they should communicate it that it will be a 3 course meal so one knows exactly how much to budget for.
