We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is in a fantastic, central location and was a great base for exploring Venice.
We were warmly greeted by the co-host, Francesca, who was absolutely delightful and incredibly helpful in getting us to the apartment after Google Maps had sent us around in circles! 😊 Communication was excellent throughout, both before and during our stay.
The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Despite being situated on a busy Salizada, it was surprisingly quiet and has a super comfy bed. There is also a supermarket conveniently close by.
There are approximately 14 steps up to the apartment. There isn’t a handrail on one side of the staircase, so this is something to be aware of for anyone who needs to hold a railing for balance. The wall can be used for support, but it’s worth keeping in mind when booking.
Having access to a kitchen and washing machine was fantastic and the air conditioner & bedroom fan a god send.
The shower is very small, and you need to enter it sideways! 😄 It can be a little tricky to manoeuvre, but it is functional once you get used to it.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and would happily recommend the apartment, particularly for its excellent location, quietness, comfort and wonderful communication.
