About this vacation rental
Bright and peaceful loft apartment (2nd floor) in the village of Sotkamo, near to versatile services of the area. 6,5 km to Vuokatti.
Hiukanhelmi apartment is built in 1992, partly renovated in -21, living area 46 m² with kitchen-living room with sofa bed for 1-2 persons (bed size 140 cm x 190cm), dinette for 4-5. Bed room with double bed (can be separated if needed). Washroom/toilet, sauna (electric). Porch.
Outdoor storage with lock, one parking space with heating plug.
Equipment for children: feeding chair and pot.
Apartment is recommended e.g for couples and small children for spending time in peace. Maximum of 5 persons is allowed, if one person is max 3 years old, there is also one mattress.
Neighbours near the apartment (town houses, may cause noise), but backyard limited to forest, windows of living room and kitchen to sheltered slope/forest. Please notice that the other apartments of the housing company are in permanent residential use.
The apartment is in use from 16 o'clock on the day of arrival to 12 o'clock on day of departure also in weekend reservations.
Pets allowed with extra charge (max 2 pets/reservation).
Cleaning and bed linen can be reserved in advance with extra charge.
Available for long-term hire, ask for offer. Next to Vuokatti - atmospheric apartment in the center of Sotkamo, where you can have a relaxing "city holiday" or a more active sport holiday.
Alight and guided sports facilities within just a couple of minutes walk. Hiking routes in varying forest terrain. In winter good and maintained illuminated ski trail (5km), also wider ski trail network in Sotkamo lakes. Connecting ski trail from Sotkamo to Vuokatti in ski season.
Versatile tourism services of Vuokatti within 10min car ride (6,5km), Holiday Club Katinkulta 8km, Vuokatti Angry Birds Activity Park 6km. Bus stop 200m, Vuokatti skibus and bus to Naapurinvaara dance hall stops there. Shopping and market about 150m. Sotkamo baseball stadium about 150m.
Hiukka beach maintained by Sotkamo municipality for summer guests in 200m, suitable for the whole family: shallow beach, sand bottom and hundreds of meters of shoreline. Slide and swings for children in the beach, swimming area marked with buoys, in summer season also lifeguard. In summer season grill kiosk/summer cafe in the area and in the same building shower/toilet and dressing room.
