Beach Front Bahia

The location is unbelievable, 5 minute walk along the beach to the local town.

The bar/restaurant was very expensive but that doesn’t matter when on holiday! The staff were amazing can’t beat it!

This is the perfect place to stay for a few days R&R. Nice and quiet, yet just a short walk to the town. It was lovely having the provided breakfast pretty much right on the beach every morning. The self-contained apartment was fabulous! Very roomy and the kitchen was well kitted out if we wanted to cook. The blender for homemade pina coladas was a nice touch!

Amazing staff, perfect location, comfortable beds!

The staff were very friendly. The restaurant food was delicious and the location was right on the beach.

The property is more like a restaurant/bar with rooms rather than hotel with restaurant. Unfortunately our room was the apartment with terrace which directly connected to the kitchen and we could hear the staff chopping food, opening and closing doors and sending out orders. As food service is 7.30am-10pm, we could hear the staff from 6.30am til about 11pm at night. Our room was on the ground floor and the terrace we had directly linked to the road and the restaurant in front, and so did not feel safe to leave things out to dry (although may have been fine). They played music from 8am-11pm which again we could hear in our room. We also had a lot of ants in the room (some are to be expected as we had visited other areas in Costa Rica) but they were innumerable as well as some cockroaches. It was not a peaceful or relaxing experience and we felt quite let down compared to the reviews. Perhaps it was our room. We explained we wanted to checkout early (after 1 night) and we did leave, the staff were apologetic and offered a different room however we didn’t want to stay there anymore. They said they would keep in contact in case they booked out the room and could give us a refund, but we had no contact from them which is really disappointing but we were desperate to go somewhere quieter and cleaner.
