Nice and clean place in a good location.
The breakfast was poor. They sell it as a proper breakfast but it was only a fully automated pancake machine. When they improve this, they will offer a great experience.

We had a great stay at When in Athens Hostel! We stayed in the female dorm, and everything was really clean, including the rooms and bathrooms. The outdoor area and common areas were also very nice and welcoming. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend it!

The hostel is well set up, glorious marble staircases, clean and comfortable. As a touring cyclist,I valued being able to store my bike in the security of the courtyard.
Regrettably there is a seating area just below the dorm windows where both guests and staff talk late into the night. I'm somebody who values a good night's sleep so having it disturbed in this way on more than one night spoilt my otherwise enjoyable stay. I suggest people are asked to sit elsewhere after 10pm or at the very least requested by staff to speak quietly.
