The apartment was very well equipped, clean, nicely designed and decorated. Everything worked perfectly.
The entrance lobby to the apartment block was a disgrace. The carpet was filthy and it gave the impression that you were entering the worst sort of Council Block. We feared the apartment might be the same but we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was perfect.

A very well equipped, warm apartment. A little out of the centre but fine if you don't mind walking. Norwich has much to commend it. Recommend using the self guided online trail A Stranger in Norwich if you like quirky history!

Comfortable sofa & bed. Light. Short walk from train station.
Traffic noise from early hours in morning. Stiflingly warm - needs better curtains in bedroom, and blinds on living room exterior doors. Motion-sensor lights in hallway click loudly and go on/off randomly during the night. Smoke alarms turned off at the consumer unit (no idea why). Limited kitchen equipment. Cheap and limited crockery. Property felt optimised for landlord profit rather than quality of stay for guests - felt more like a residential let than a holiday let.
