The Nook is a very cleverly designed accommodation. It has a good sized kitchen, dining & sitting areas, the bedroom is a comfortable size and bathroom/toilet accessible from both sides. It's very light and airy, windows can be opened easily and there is seating all around the Nook. Everything is very well looked after, beautifully decorated & spotless. Welcome basket from the hosts to get us started. It didn't take long and we felt very at home. Lots of little touches to show that someone really cares about this little gem. Wark is a very pretty village, lovely riverside walks & we were made very welcome by Brynne, John & all the locals we met.
Wark's Cafe 1897 was on holiday!!! However, there are a few cafes a few miles away - Tea at the Station & Fountains Cafe in Bellingham, the Riverside Kitchen in Chollerford or Simonburn Tea Rooms. A very relaxing break!

The location was great. The plants around the cottage were lovely. The cottage is well-equipped and comfortable. Very quiet location but with great access to local attractions.
Nothing. Brynne and John were so friendly. We will visit again.

Beautiful property. Spotless and everything we needed. Lovely welcome basket and the information pack was really detailed. Absolutely loved it and booked to go back again.
