Plenty of room with good access to Peniche town and beaches, Nice large TV, spacious kitchen and living area.
Location was good but there are a few derelict houses in the road and barking dogs. The decor and furnishings are a bit dated, but are perfectly functional.

Good location, close to supermarkets (Aldi,Lidl and Continente).
Beaches close by and Peniche town centre 15minutes walk.
No air conditioning. Fan in bedroom needed.

Don't know if it had a mop and broom, but that would be useful.
Could have supplied a couple more dish towels.

Good location if you have a car, though it’s about a 20-minute walk from the Peniche bus station. There are a few supermarkets nearby, which is helpful. The apartment itself is well equipped - I especially appreciated the heating and the blackout curtains in the bedroom. It would have been nice to have a few basic pantry staples, such as coffee or cooking oil, provided. Overall, it’s a comfortable place to stay and offers good value for money.
The hosts left a bottle of wine in the apartment under an “honesty bar” system, with a note asking guests to leave €9 if they chose to drink it. However, I later found that the exact same bottle costs only €1.99 at the nearest supermarket. Honesty should go both ways, and in this case I felt cheated.
Another issue was very high humidity in the apartment. Even though they kindly provide a dehumidifier, the air in the apartment was not always pleasant and smelled badly.
