It was in a lovely setting with en-suite bedrooms for all three couples.
The dryer did not work. Clothes were washed and one couple went next door to the motel to dry their clothes. Andrew did stop by to correct the problem, but was not able to fix. We used the industrial dryer in the back.

Clean well maintained unit. The contact person Debs was quick to respond at odd hours.
Property was well stocked kitchenware and facilities to live comfortably
We were 6 couples, large group, only one tiny room was without any side tables or sitting arrangements
The common bathroom near hall was provided for this 6th room, this was little inconvenient
And door lock for common bathroom was not working 😞

It is a fantastic property and very comfortable, there is an ensuite in every bedroom. 😀

The location is stunning, with magnificent views of the mountains from the kitchen window. The bedroom we stayed in and its attached bath were very roomy and immaculate.
The layout is odd because the building appears to be built as a B&B with most of the rooms down a long hotel-like hallway. We had the master bedroom and the extra bedrooms were locked, which gave the feeling of rattling around in a large, slightly musty empty house. Fresh flowers and a small spread of snacks would do wonders to brighten the place up upon arrival.
We had friends who stayed here when it was a B&B and they raved about the food and hospitality. Unfortunately, that's no longer the situation. Be sure to bring food from a larger town since options at the little store in Fox Glacier are limited.
This rental would be great for a large group who could fill it up, but for a single room, there may be better choices. Still, the setting can't be beat and the place has huge potential.
