Live music, views, private access to beach.
Price is expensive, as everything in Maui. I think I got the best value for the price I paid though.

Value of the place was overpriced.

near ocean, island view
not in Kaanapali proper, no room service, no visit from staff while gone to make bed and restock coffee etc

The resort in itself is great, and the room was excellent, great layout, comfortable, with an awesome view.
The staff was overall very nice and helpful too.
Long waiting line in the lobby with not enough people at the front desk.
The whole place is a labyrinth and the signage is really terrible, sometimes giving opposite indications. Trying to find our way from one of the several parking lots to the lobby in our building was an absolute nightmare.
And staff to ask for directions were sorely lacking too.
After that episode, we got into multiple hurdles with opening our room door (too complicated to explain here) that eventually set us two hours back, ruining partly our business and leisure plans for the evening.
The staff were nice and gave us a $50 credit for food to compensate for the problems, but they obviously didn't truly realize what it meant for us to have a two-hour delay in our evening schedule.
