We arrived earlier than expected for the final leg of our hiking trip. Our host, Joao, was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage at his shop until check-in. The room itself was spotless and comfortable, boasting excellent water pressure. The location is unbeatable, situated right in the heart of popular dining options. Even though it is in a lively area, the room was remarkably quiet and entirely undisturbed by external noise. Thank you, Joao, for helping make our time in Madeira so memorable.

-great location - within a few minutes of all the main sites.
- very clean with everything I needed f it r my stay.
- lovely touch of Madeiran treats upon arrival.
-lack of natural light as window looked out over restaurant courtyard so was dark all the time, but everything else was amazing so it was a small price to pay.
