Great hotel with friendly staff. The rooms very spacious, with a balcony overlooking the pool. Voucher for a welcome drink was a great touch

Excellent location — right in the heart of Pantai Cenang, with Cenang Beach, Cenang Mall and plenty of food places within walking distance.
Close to the beach.
Good selection of breakfast.
Comfortable modern room.

Very happy with our stay. I requested connecting rooms before the time and they always responded swiftly. The staff and hotel is exceptional. It's not a very big hotel but I will definitely stay again. The rooms were clean and spacious and bathroom was also well cleaned. The staff were always smiling friendly and always greeted when you arrive or left hotel. Breakfast had a wide variety and my whole family was pleased. Kids also loved the kiddie pool side. We had another reservation at another hotel, ended up leaving the hotel and returning to Mercure as the quality was below par esp when compared to Mercure. The location was very convenient, close to beach, main Street. My family loved the hotel.
It's a bit pricey as there were many other hotels less pricey however the quality you get was worth the price.

The good things first: the Breakfast spread throughout our 4 day stay was excellent. Thanks
Now the things to improve: the Reception staff were pretty unfriendly and uncaring, not ready to understand custoemr concerns, requests even when we had 2 Senior Citizens amongst the 6 of us !
The rooms we got were distant apart, even after repeated requests for 4 days, we did not get a single transfer...
The worst thisn was, there was an Empty Hall on our way from Elevator to our rooms which was unlit and completely Dark at Nights... Very Strange to see at Mercure Group Hotels...& even after our requests the staff didnt bother to put on the Lights...very rude & wierd !
