Hotel in excellent condition and well maintained. Our room was very clean and quite comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. (Note that we requested a room at the rear of the hotel, as the front side faces a highway interchange. ) We were surprised to find a very nice restaurant setup at the hotel... both a standard indoor dining room plus an outdoor dining area with sun coverings and tropical plants. Also, in the mornings, a buffet is set up in the outer area, just off the lobby, which is also open air and very pleasant. The National Museum of Kenya is just 500 meters away, but the walk is a little dicey along the highway. Very interesting, however, and well worth the visit. The hotel also has a nice outdoor area around a swimming pool, with plenty of pool furniture. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating.
There is no ATM at the hotel, which should be added, given the number of safari clients that seem to visit the hotel as part of their tours. The nearest access to an ATM is by walking to the nearby University of Nairobi campus, which is about 500 meters from the hotel. Other than that, no complaints

We stayed at this hotel both before and after our safari trip in Aug/Sept 2026. (See my other review of this hotel for more details) As before, we found the hotel very pleasant and comfortable. We found the staff especially friendly and accommodating.
As mentioned before, the lack of an ATM seems counterintuitive, given the hotel traffic and, in particular, number of safari trip clients who seem to assemble there. No other complaints.
