Maple Cottage at Wilindi was a wonderful place to stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of little touches that showed how much care the owner had put into making guests feel at home. It is a great getaway for families, couples, or even solo travellers looking for a peaceful farmstay experience.
The owner is incredibly warm and friendly, and her passion for rescuing animals really adds to the charm of the property. There are plenty of friendly animals around the farm to meet, making the stay even more memorable.
The only minor drawback is the kitchen. It isn't designed for extensive cooking, as there is no built-in stove or oven—you'll need to use a portable induction cooktop if you want to prepare a meal. That said, there is a lovely little BBQ area available, which is perfect for a relaxed outdoor dinner.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend Maple Cottage at Wilindi to anyone looking for a cosy, peaceful escape surrounded by nature and animals.
Minor point: You might have to bring your own tongs especially if you want to use the BBQ pit. You will need to get your own groceries at the nearest supermarket.

It was such a lovely cottage with all the amenities we could possibly need for the weekend. Our toddler thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and exploring the rest of the farm. We enjoyed the bbq and eating at the outside table. It was lovey that there was a nice spacious and safe back yard for our toddler to play.
