What a beautiful, charming and warm getaway in one of the most stunning regions of Europe! If you’re looking for quiet, historic charm and lots of space, this is the place for you! The house we rented (Le Bastidon) has kept its Renaissance beauty while equipped with all the modern facilities. The huge shared garden is a fantastic place to spend whole days, chilling in the hammocks, relaxing in the pool or cooking a lavish meal in the vast outside kitchen. Games and sports equipment are provided for all ages, the whole place is extremely family friendly. Guy and Laurence go to great lengths to truly make everyone feel at home, are always there to help with anything you might need and are happy to engage in really meaningful exchange. Safe to say that this is probably the best experience I have ever made in 25 years of worldwide travelling, would definitely come back!
Everything was brilliant. The only addition that might be a good idea is a charging point for EVs so you don't have to go down into the village, but I hear that is already underway.

Cudowny klimat, sielankowy krajobraz i tradycyjne kamienne domy. Piękne miejsce utrzymane przez gospodarzy z sercem i w nieskazitelnej czystości. Można naprawdę wypocząć, cieszyć się cisza, schłodzić się w basenie w upalne dni. Dom utrzymany w starym stylu co dodaje klimatu. Wszystko co potrzebne było na miejscu (podstawowe artykuły jak herbata, cukier, sól itp). Gospodarze to bardzo mili ludzie i widać, że wkładają w utrzymanie tego miejsca dużo serca. Polecam osobom które chcą odpocząć w sielskim klimacie. Do sklepu i piekarni ok 10min spacerem. Naprawde świetne i czyste miejsce. Czuliśmy się tutaj super!!

Le lieu est très agréable, le gîte est confortable, il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour s’y sentir bien, les hôtes particulièrement accueillants.

Very pleasant gîte where we stayed during a wedding weekend. Wonderful hosts, present at all times and very kind. Our room had a fantastic outdoor area that we really enjoyed, tucked under a fig tree that smelled amazingly. The pool and gardens were also great to spend the hottest hours of the day. Parking area in the shade was also great!
Bathroom with shower was very small and not practical, it could be improved. Careful with accessibility if you’re not very agile, our room had super steep stairs — if it’s your case, take another room.
