The sailboat was comfortable and our capitán, Miro is an outstanding host and sailor. He was very accommodating in taking us to beautiful islands to explore, snorkel or paddle around. He and chef Jimena prepared incredible fresh fruit, eggs, toast or pastries; purchased fresh fish and octopus for lunch and dinner, made us a delicious seafood paella and had coffee and tea ready for us when we awoke each day. We enjoyed wine and cocktails in the evenings and were able to see a number of beautiful fish, corals and sink our toes in the powdery Caribbean sand. We all thought that staying on a boat and having such a wonderful crew was the best way to experience the San Blas Islands.
I would encourage the boat owner to update the snorkeling equipment to include more fins of a variety of sizes and prune out the snorkels that are not functioning properly. The boat itself was very seaworthy, but is looking forward to putting into port this fall and having some tender loving care administered to it. The small fans in the sleeping quarters are ideal to abate the humidity at night for sleeping.

Die Tour mit dem Boot durch San Blas war außergewöhnlich schön. Es war sehr entspannten perfekt zum Runterkommen. Unsere Crew Miro und Jimena waren sehr gute Gastgeber, fürsorglich und immer gut gelaunt. Wir hatten täglich zur Auswahl, wann wir was machen wollen (Schnorcheln, Kayak, Hängematte am Strand, weiter zur nächsten Insel etc.) und das Essen war extrem gut, täglich frisch zubereitet und fast immer mit regionalem Fisch von den Cunas.
Tipp: die Übernachtung vor Ort muss im Boot in Bar bezahlt werden und es gibt dort keine ATMs. Das hatten wir leider überlesen.
Von Panama City aus sind es erst ca. 2,5h Fahrt im Jeep zu einem Hafen, an dem man eine ganze Zeit auf das Boot wartet, das einen zu den Segelbooten bringt. Bei uns hat die Fahrt echt lange gedauert, weil wir eines der letzten Boote waren. Auch hier waren es ca. 2h im Speedboot. Insgesamt lohnt sich der Aufwand aber sehr und alles war gut organisiert.

Hermoso Velero, fuimos 4 y nos sentimos muy cómodos. Tanto el capitán Miro y la marinera Ximena, ambos muy amables, atentos a nuestras necesidades y conversaciones para el recuerdo. Muchas gracias por hacer de nuestras vacaciones inolvidables.
La comida es muy rica, sabores variados, pero podría ser más en cantidad y complementar con más alimentos. Falta variedad de alcohol . Había solo cerveza y vino.
